5/8/2022 3:56:06 AM

A huge Lost Ark May Update is under the corner, bringing the Valtan Legion raid and new Relic rarity for gear. Here we go over all the relic gear sets that you can wear at level 1445, not only diving into the set bonus of each one but also telling you what relic set (or sets) to go for with our specific builds.

Lost Ark Relic Gear

What Are Relic Gear in Lost Ark?

Relic gear also referred to as Relic equipment provides more impactful weapon and armor bonuses, alongside bigger stat bonuses and more engraving nodes on accessories. Similar to other gear sets in Lost Ark, there are 6 pieces of gear (weapon, helm, chest piece, pants, gloves, shoulder armor) to complete one Relic set. Additionally, by stacking up pieces (2 sets, 4 sets, 6 sets) in one Relic Gear set, you can get an extra set bonus. Relic gear (weapons & armors) can be obtained by crafting with the materials looted in the Valtan.

Lost Ark Relic Gear Set Features

  • Relic Gear including weapons and armors is still base item level 1340 and can be upgraded to 1575 (+25).

  • Higher-level relic gear versions are available later, so you can expect to be using these bonuses until at least 1615. They have significantly higher raw stats than Legendary gear, so it's worth upgrading even if you prefer the older set bonuses from Argos or normal Valtan/Vykas gear.

  • Their materials are primarily available from Hard Mode Valtan and Vykas (Smaller amounts also drop in Normal) and can not be crafted until item level 1445.

  • Each set requires materials from both Valtan and Vykas to craft all 6 parts and so 6-piece set effects can not be completed until Vykas release.

  • Values in (parentheses) are for the Level 2 version of the set, which is an upgrade that requires Normal Mode Kakul-Saydon (Item Level 1475) materials.

What Relic Set To Choose For Your Classes (Builds)?

What set is good for your class builds? Here we give you some tips to choose the right Relic weapons and armors for your classes:

  • Supports typically go for Swamp of Yearning, not Dominion Fang. It's basically a permanent 10% attack speed, move speed, and damage aura while also giving you 18% more identity gauge.

  • Every support uses Swamp of Yearning (probably because it boosts too much DPS and by that time players should either gitgud or get out with the mech).

  • Nightmare Flower is used for a reflux build that reduces all cooldowns to 4-5s (minus punishing), it's extremely spammy and requires the MP regen and cdr of Nightmare.

  • Earth's Entropy is for resource generation 18% more for faster-blessed aura's on paladin and shields on Bard.

  • Destructive Grasp would work better for Bard, as we have 2 skills to increase atk and stack, plus we can perma debuff bosses for an extra 10% dmg.

  • Dominion Fang, Shrieking Hallucination, and Nightmare Flower provide similar damage bonuses.

  • Dominion Fang loses you an engraving slot unless you run massive amounts of swiftness, so it's not widely used anymore.

  • Shrieking Hallucination is the go-to for every class that has mana issues.

  • Nightmare Flower is great if you want crit but would rather stack spec or swiftness.

  • Mix and match a bunch of sets until you complete 6 relic pieces from Vykas.
