More chaos dungeons, more guardian raids, and more weekly gold generation. There's always one thing that is an issue when it comes to alts. That is the gearing. Gearing is extremely expensive. What is the fastest and cheapest way to gear an alt in Lost Ark? In this Lost Ark guide, we will show you how to save a fortune when gearing your alts at the relic item level.
Lost Ark Alt Gearing Guide - How To Gear Alts With Relic Accessories Cheap & Fast
An explanation on how to get your alts efficiently without spending massive amounts of Lost Ark gold. Some of you might already be aware of what's to come about the TLDR is play non-meta engravings. But we need to play meta engravings to deal the most damage possible. Now that's the whole discussion at hand basically first. Let's have a look at how to gear alts for sub 6k gold in full relic gear with more than 1600 spec and a full 4x3 +1 setup. Which is by the way more than enough for an alt.
Best Set Up For Lost Ark Alt Gearing
Alts exist to be efficient and generate income for you and also to have fun with them. Yet it is important to distinguish between your full geared main and your alts if you want to go for a full 5x3 setup on your alt, you can do that. Yes, you are wasting 3 notes but that's not important when it comes to getting a 4x3 or plus 1 setup. This way you get the most expensive deal out of the way immediately. This does not apply to classes that just run their class engraving at level 1 like a blue Gunlancer for example. This already saved you lots of gold and now you will just go for meta engravings on the rest of the accessories, but it still will get quite expensive.
Lost Ark Best Engravings For Alt Gearing
Now here comes the interesting part if you decide to use a non-meta engraving. This always depends on the class you are gearing. But for example the engraving we used as a cheat to gear up cheaply is a mass increase on both Soulfist and Striker, you were able to reach 4x3 plus 1 adrenaline buying accessories with mass increase. The reason why this isn't as bad as you might think right now is that once you reach item level 1445 and your supports are running the yearning relic set, the offset from mass increase which is a 10% negative attack speed debuff is pretty much negated by the 8% swiftness buff from the yearning set. This is a flat buff not depending on your stats just as information. This means you will have a minor attack speed loss for a whopping 18% attack power increase. Which is more than a cursed doll by the way. You lose the additional swiftness, you'd have without mass increase.
We're looking here at how to gear characters cheaply and how not how to get the most optimized setup in Lost Ark. Other engravings that also work for this cheap Lost Ark alt gearing method would be for example spares option which is only moving speed and attack speed, but not any straight damage. Otherwise for example precise dagger is also a nice automata engraving for high spec or high swiftness classes to give them some crit chance. There are probably more engravings you could choose to run instead of the meta engravings. Yet we do believe those might be worse than the one that we mentioned.
Lost Ark Best Way To Buy Relic Accessories
The important part of this is to buy accessories that have your cheat engraving and the main engraving on them. For example grudge drive and mass increase 3. We were able to pick up pieces with 90 plus grades on specialty for less than 500 gold. Keep in mind stats also play a very important role when gearing up your characters. It might even be more profitable to have high-grade spec with mass increase than a low-grade expensive accessory with a meta engraving, depending on how much damage you gain from this amount of spec. Let's all be honest, buying a full meta engraving with high spec grade is really expensive. Remember also that Lost Ark can be quite in-depth and it would require a chunk of calculations to give you now a 100% correct answer to the question we just stated basically.
At the end of the day, it is up to you what you do with your character. This is actually quite important knowledge as it can help to gear some odds very cheaply. But don't mistake these outs for bad now or for tainted, they still do decent damage. Especially for the item level, they out dps the average pug to be honest. Another reason why this is so good is that relic gear has higher base stats and allows you to reach higher substance increasing your damage significantly compared to legendary gear.
