Lost Ark Machinist (Scouter) Class Guide: Release Date, Skills, Engravings & Build Types

The official information about the next new class in Lost Ark NA/EU finally comes out, Machinist, a renamed version of Scouter is planned to be added in September. Lost Ark Machinist (Scouter) Class Release Date NA/EU
According to the Lost Ark August & September roadmap, the fifth Gunner Advanced Class - Machinist is going to arrive in the game in September. Even though the exact date is not confirmed, they have indicated that Punika Pass and Express event won’t last until the next class, so it is a good chance that Scouter or Machinist will come out after the event expire. Considering the end date of Hyper Express is September 28, many players predict that the Scouter or Machinist class will be released on September 28, 2022.
Lost Ark Machinist (Scouter) Skills
Machinist, which is called Scouter in the Korean version, is a simple class around high-tech sci-fi theme, he has yellow skills and blue skills, and purple skills. Yellow skills are yourself using the gun or like the grenades where kind of roll around and fire like you've got some maneuver skills, and then you got the counters there. Blue skills are your drones, you can control your drone with your shift key and if you press X, your drone comes back to you, you can reposition your drone and then use the skill from your drone. Purple skills are combination skills of yourself and the drone, so as in you're doing a combination attack, since they are combined, you can’t do anything with your drone while you are using them, but in the case of blue skills and yellow skills, while you are using a blue skill, you can also use a yellow skill.
The identity skill of the Machinist class is Hypersync, which is charged whenever the Machinist lands an attack, once Hypersync is entered, core energy will be expended by abilities until the Machinist runs out, and his drone can be transformed into a battle suit.
Lost Ark Machinist (Scouter) Engravings
The Machinist has two class engravings, they are Arthetinean Skill and Legacy of Evolution.
Arthetinean Skill
- Level 1: Drone and joint skill damage +15%, max battery +10%, move speed + 10% when drones are attached to you.
- Level 2: Drone and joint skill damage +20%, max battery +10%, move speed + 15% when drones are attached to you.
- Level 3: Drone and joint skill damage +25%, max battery +10%, move speed + 20% when drones are attached to you.
Legacy of Evolution
- Level 1: During Hypersync mode, on hit, Sync skills inflict damage +2% (max 3 stacks) and cooldown -0.5s. Also, Hypersync mode returns 40% of its core energy cost when canceled.
- Level 2: During Hypersync mode, on hit, Sync skills inflict damage +4% (max 3 stacks) and cooldown -0.5s. Also, Hypersync mode returns 40% of its core energy cost when canceled.
- Level 3: During Hypersync mode, on hit, Sync skills inflict damage +6% (max 3 stacks) and cooldown -0.5s. Also, Hypersync mode returns 40% of its core energy cost when canceled.
Lost Ark Machinist (Scouter) Build Options
A Scouter has two builds, one has a transformation build and one that focuses on the yellow skill, the blue skill, and the purple skill separately. The more popular one is the transformation class and what it does is if you transform, you get 60 shield and then when you transfer them back, you get returned energy of 40, this is exactly like shadowhunter. So most of the time when you have a proper build with like 1800 spec, the more spec, the better you can transform technically in two skills, you usually have level one of the engravings because the level one engraving is very efficient. The untransformation class is completely different, if you wanted to play that way, that's so better when you get the boost, you can play the transformation build as an alt because it's so much cheaper, it increases the level a little bit, make some Lost Ark gold and then maybe try out a different build, the class is super simple, that's why most people have it as an alt, it's one of the best alternative characters next to shadowhunter.
