You do the content, you get the resources, use the resource to upgrade the gear, use the higher tier gear to go and do higher tier content. Get more materials and you continue this cycle until you become super powerful and you can eventually do the highest tier content in the game. It's going to take you a long time to get there, it's a very long process to reach item level 1580 in Lost Ark.

1. Use Those Alts
Alts are key to progression in Lost Ark. Now we all know Lost Ark is a game of all characters. Not only does this add variety and fun to the daily raids and all the other content, but it will massively speed up your growth. We are blessed that we've had multiple passes given to us so you can boost your roster. The rest bonus is a huge point. Wait till they have a cuny accumulated rest bonus whether it's the dailies or the chaos dungeons before doing the content. Max out your alts is the best thing to do when it comes to upgrading your item level in Lost Ark.
Use a few alts at a time with different play styles and when they've accumulated rest bonus to really make it respectful of your own play time as well as yielding good rewards to help you progress. While this is massively going to increase your gold generation or you can be running Argos and make a ton of gold. Even if you're having to use the buses as well as the final phase abyss dungeons on hard mode, they're really going to help out.
2. Chaos Dungeons
Never ever underestimate the power of chaos dungeons. Do make sure you're covering all the gold-making activities available for your character and make this a priority after resetting every week.
4. Feiton is for Winners
We recommend you do this all across your roster. Feiton has three daily quests which you need to be running every single day on every character that you plan to hone with. Because they are bound maps but they are fantastic and this is an insane use of your time. It takes less than 5 minutes to complete all 3 faded daily quests and they're going to net you 11 leaps or great leap stones per day or double if you accrue the rest bonus. So if you think about it if you're running 3 or 4 alts, you may not have a rest bonus but they do. You can be getting 60/70 leap stones in half an hour across your roster. That is massive. This is single-handedly the best and fastest source for these and it's going to be a key to you being able to hone and tap your way to success and hit that big Lost Ark Akkan 1580 gear honing milestone.
5. Pity Honing is for Noobz
Hone smart, not hard. honing is a stressful emotional, and addictive process that can have us diving out of our chairs celebrating also wanting to launch keyboards across the room. Do not pity hone, throw in all your gold and upgrade take your time and enjoy the process as you'll throw hundreds. If not thousands of gold at something that you will have naturally accrued and achieved in a day or two anyway. Then you'll find yourself really lacking that goal that isn't as easy to get back to at a later date.
