Lost Ark Vykas Legion Raid Gate 1 Guide - Mechanics Of Vykas Normal & Hard Mode Gate 1

The Lost Ark legion raid Vykas is not yet released in NA-West, but will be live soon. This is a Lost Ark guide for Vykas raid gate 1 in the normal and hard version of the fight. We'll only be focusing on the major mechanics of the boss.
Lost Ark Vykas Legion Raid Gate 1 Guide Mechanics Of Vykas Normal & Hard Mode Gate 1
In general, you'll be fighting two different bosses throughout the Lost Ark Vykas gate 1. This boss will have a human form and a demon form. These bosses will have their own set of mechanics when starting the encounter. You'll deal damage until 55 hp bars. At this point, the boss will split and one group will be fighting the human form while the other group fights the demon form. Which party faces which form is completely random. Your group will also have to give set positions for some mechanics. You can also use the sidereal skill dinova on whichever boss has the highest hp but may require the swapping of the leader depending on which one does first. Now, let's talk about everything you know about fighting with Lost Ark Vykas raid gate 1.
Lost Ark Vykas Legion Raid Recommendations
1. Whirlwind Battle Item
Throws grenade and inflicts 297 damage. Foes are launched into the air. Stagger: high.
2. Time Stop Potion
Use to temporarily become invincible. Does not shield you from wipeout skills from some powerful monsters.
Lost Ark Vykas Normal & Hard Mode Gate 1 Mechanics & Tips
Human Form
Vykas attacks in the human form you must move away from the red telegraphs. The boss will teleport to the middle of the arena at around 50 hp bars. Until there is an explosion, you must remain close to him inside a white circle. After going to the position you were assigned, an orb spawns next to each player and will change its color in a fixed pattern. Additionally, a gate with a fixed color will spawn in the general vicinity of your position too.
Stagger (Human Form)
You must steer the ball towards the gate while making sure it is the same color as the gate. Only one orb player can fail. A wipe will occur if two or more players fail. next up is the stagger check the boss will teleport to the center at 35 and 13 hp bars. At which point a stagger check must be performed. Each player will receive a blue or black orb above their head once they pass a stagger check. Depending on the color of your orb, you need to relocate to a spot that matches this image. You must immediately learn the series of patterns that spawn on the ground because they indicate the order in which the orbs will spawn.
In/Out (Human Form)
Your objective here is to collect these orbs while making sure they do not hit the boss. These orbs can rotate five times in the same direction or change the direction after the third spot. In Lost Ark Vykas normal mode, you're allowed 5 orbs to reach the boss. In Lost Ark Vykas hard mode, you'll allow two orbs to reach the boss. If the boss consumes too many orbs, your party will be wiped. Having completed the orb mechanic, there will be a big aoe after. The safe area will either be inside or outside, but only the party fighting the human form of the boss will be able to see it. Players fighting the human form of the boss must therefore communicate the location of the safe spot to the party fighting the demon form boss, so they do not die.
Demon Form
At first, fighting the demon form doesn't involve any important mechanics, because you'll mostly be waiting for the party fighting the human form to finish dealing with their issues. You must stand on the purple telegraphs to avoid a majority of the mechanics when fighting the demon form boss 2. When fighting the demon-formed boss, just stay alive, deal damage and avoid the general attack patterns until the parting fighting the human form tells you to resolve a major mechanic.
Swap
When both bosses reach 30 hp bars, they will switch. To avoid the aoe, remain on the edge of the arena. The bus will teleport to the middle of the arena at 25 hp bars where 4 circles will appear to the north, east, south, and west. The human party must inform the group battling the demon boss which region is safe because they can see a white circle in one of the positions. The party fighting the demon boss can only see black circles, so you need to wait for the call-out in order to go to the correct safe spot position.
Pizza (Hard Mode)
Pizza is one special mechanic that happens on hard mode. It's very similar to the valganos mechanic that you've seen in the guardian raid. You should also be in the same position as your portal mechanic here too. You also do an aoe so make sure you move to the middle to avoid it. After the explosion, head to your position, and an orb will be spawned at the center for each player. Hide the orb towards the outer edge of the arena and consume it, you need to follow the piece of mechanic pattern in order to receive a shield, preventing you from getting one-shot by the next mechanic. If you fail you can also use the time stop potion so you don't die.
