Lost Ark Vykas Gate 3 Legion Raid Guide at Level 1430 and 1460 | Vykas Gate 3 Wipe Mechanic Guide

This is a Vykas raid guide in Lost Ark, unlike Valtan, Vykas Normal and Hard are different, hard has additional critical wipe mechanics and normal patterns, so this guide will cover the difference between the two, both difficulties normal will require your item level to be 1430 and 1460 for hard mode.
Light of Salvation
Vykas is also weak to light damage, so if you happen to have light salvation, total awakening, it is the most efficient card set for the battle due to the additional 10 damage provided by the card set, so unless you require crit rate using lightest salvation, 12 awakenings will boost your DPS performance if you have it, but if you don't have it, it's also okay.
Notes: Light of Salvation x12 > Lostwind Cliff x12. (Only applicable in Vykas Gate 2 and 3)
Esther Roster
The raid leader can use it by pressing ctrl z x or c, these are strategically used to go through harsh mechanics be sure to use them at the right times, Esther nativity does massive damage, Esther way does huge stagger and Esther nana provides a huge shield to cc immune healing at the last tick to the party.

About Gate 3
Vykas Gate 3 has a lot of wipe mechanics, it depends but normal patterns tend to be less difficult, but the mechanics can overwhelm people, DPS won't be as problematic once you get used to it.
Lust Gauge
Before going into the major gimmicks though we need to understand the main mechanic of this raid, the lust gauge.
0% (Lethargy)
The rose icon will lose its light.
Deal significantly less damage.
1% - 69% (Normal)
The rose icon will light up.
Nothing else happens.
70% - 99% (Lust)
The rose icon will turn red.
Deal and receive additional damage.
Allows you to see through certain special mechanics.
100% (Mind-Control)
You'll lose control and your character will attack your teammates.
Your teammates have to CC (stun, sleep, etc) you otherwise your character will die after the duration.
There are multiple ways to lower your Lust Gauge:
1. If you get hit by the Vykas's grab pattern, your lust gauge will also drop a bit.
2. Being c-seed after mind control will drop your lust gauge back to the normal amount.
3. Inanna will drop your Lust gauge about 40% and decrease difficulty of the typing test.
Notes:
To gain Lust - > Just get hit.
To drop Lust - > Need to use group resource.
Wipe Mechanic: Statue Sword
Statues and swords at 152 bars, micas will first go to the center and disappear with dialogue, then she'll spawn a series of clones of herself as statues and swords, if you have 0 to 69 purple lust gauge, you'll see the statues around the map, if you have 70-99 pink lust gauge, you'll see swords around the map out of the 8 different directions there are positions where there will be both swords and statues existing together, you may only see one section of the puzzle by seeing only statues or seeing only swords, if this is the case, there are two additional methods to figure out this mechanic:
1. The combination is not completely random, you can identify safe spots by looking at only swords or statues during this mechanic
2. You can actually tell where the safe spot is through sounds vykas consistently laughs during this mechanic, and the closer you are to the safe spot, the louder the sound is.
Wipe Mechanic: Typing Test
Typing tests at 135 bars, spikes will fly upwards and disappear also notification pops out that a very strong attack is coming, she'll also drop a lot of projectiles around the map and proceed to do a cutscene for each player in this cutscene, you'll do a quick time event where you need to type a series of letters on time even if you have at least one percent of the lust gauge filled up, the quick time event will be much harder and faster.
Wipe Mechanic: Stagger & Frogs
Stagger & Frogs at 105 bars, vykas will teleport to the middle and proceed to create a large red magic circle, the circle will explode after a few moments, and deal damage to players who are on top of it along with less gauge filling up, afterward vykas will spawn a giant frog, that's slowly growing size in the 1 and 7 o'clock positions, then she will proceed to do a stagger check, until the stagger check is completely done, staying inside the magic circle zone will consistently increase your lust gauge, you will need to successfully stagger her to prevent the wipe, the frogs at one and seven o'clock positions can only be damaged if your lust gauge is over 70 percent, if the frogs aren't destroyed, they will explode afterward, dealing a huge amount of damage and filling up your lust gauge to full, you can use Esther neem or way to destroy this exploding frogs.
Our suggestion:
Before the frog starts to glow when reached at a certain size, it is important to stay calm, and not use the time stop too early to be hit by the explosion afterward, since time stop prevents the damage and lust gauge gains, you'll be able to stagger safely and pass its mechanics easily.
Wipe Mechanic: Tentacles
Mechanic tentacles at 55 bars, Vykas will teleport to the middle and start spawning red orbs, so tentacles are on the map, if you get hit by these red orbs, you'll get slightly damaged with building up your lust gauge, sometimes the orbs are stacked up, so you must be careful or you'll be mind-controlled immediately, your goal is to remove all the tentacles that have spawned around the map, the problem is the tentacles only take damage if you're more than 70 lust gauge which is the pink state, you can see how many tentacles are left by consistently looking at the mini-map or under the boss's hp UI.
