Lost Ark just released the August and September roadmap with bringing new legion commander raid scounter and new machinist class Kakul. We’ll see the developers releasing 3 updates of varying sizes across both months. A small content update in August, a quality of life and back end tech update in early September and a final major content update near the end of September. Lost Ark August & September Roadmap 2022 - New Class, New Raid, New Skins, Events & More

It is confirmed that August’s content update will introduce the Maharaka festival activities and a new location - Pet Ranch where you can tailor-made for hanging out with your pet. The September updates will be divided into two parts, all covering the technical updates, quality of life features, new advanced class machinist scouter added, new raid kaukul, and even some new skins. Here are all the updates coming courtesy of the August and September roadmap in Lost Ark.

August Updates & Lost Ark August Roadmap

Pet Ranch 

Starting things off in August, the Pet Ranch will be joining as a new way to spend some time in the game. This is the perfect place to play, grow, and earn rewards with your pet. You'll be able to take on the 'Yay, Pet Ranch!’ quest once you unlock the ranch, cave, and get a pet. It appears to be a place where you can have special interactions with your pet, like recovering morale, managing functions, and earning Jelly Cookies to spend on rewards.

Pet ranch/pet farm is in korea, tldr of pet farm is you have pets and they work, so they heal up. You can get cosmetics as well as other goodies, but mainly it's to generate cookies for those cosmetics and to get your pets to legendary. So if you go to the pet tab, we have legendary pets, you just get an additional function,it's not game breaking, it's not pay to win because you just generate all of this stuff through the stronghold. You can use your wrapper mats and turn it into pet food, and by using the pet food, you can heal up your pets quicker.

Maharaka Fesetival - Blooming Mokokos 

Also coming in August are some new activities for the ongoing Maharaka festival. In the maharaka island, there will be a second event other than the fall guys, the water gun thing. In the maharaka map, there will be random mokoko seeds and you have to fight with other players to loot these seeds. There's a few ways to cheese it to optimize the maharaka seeds, these maharaka seeds can drop anything from silver to a little bit of gold, if you're lucky and into 10000 gold like a legendary gold bar and it gives like a server-wide message saying that johnny looted a 10000 gold maharaka seed. Just collect as many as you can during the maharaka festival and exchange them for mounts, animal skins and more!

September Updates & Lost Ark September Roadmap  - Part 1

September will have two key updates, the first September update will bring small improvements to the experience that will “[pave] the way for the second September Update.” And some quality of life updates are going to be introduced, such as a global chat room, improved cross-server interaction, a PvP class balance patch, and better PvP settings.

Social Updates

• Global Chat Room (announced in Korea as LoaTalk), you can talk to friends on other servers.

• Improved cross-server interaction, including interacting with people from different servers in Strongholds, and being able to add friends from different servers.

Customization

• We got 2 new hairstyles for each starting class.

Combat

• Trixion Training Grounds updates to become a better practice environment to test out many different combinations (skill runes/gems/engravings/cards) of settings with more skill points.

• A PvP Class balance patch.

Settings Improvements

• Better PvP settings, improved Guild systems, and improved support and settings for controllers.

They don’t include everything in the road map like for July, they had honing buffs as well as power pass changes, purchasable power passes, they didn't include that in the road map but they included it later in the patch notes. So just because they are not here, that doesn't mean it's the end of the world.

September Updates - Part 2

The second update will be the next major content update, bringing in a Legion Raid Kakul, events, and most importantly a new advanced class, the Machinist Scouter. 

• Machinist Scouter:  Lost Ark's new class Machinist is coming to the game this September, alongside a range of other content. This is the most free-to-play friendly class, two gems, you could even get away with just one like just damage them but you don't need that many tripods. Engravings are very cheap like barricade you can go with. When you're like above 80 hp you do 16 more damage stabilized status, you could get away with that barricade. There are a lot of cheap engravings you can run on scouter, very efficient character. 

• Kakul-Saydon: Kakul-Saydon legion raid coming in September. In terms of pacing, it's not that bad, pretty good. So it's the third legion raid, it's a four-man raid, there's only one difficulty which is the normal mode. There is no hard mode and hell mode is going to be later. There are three gates, all three gates are 1475 item level and there is an easier version of the raid called circus rehearsal. So you can enter at 1385 and you can practice the clown raid in a very easier setting like an lfr if you've ever played. For doing clown even rehearsal, you don't have the item level to do the normal mode, just doing rehearsal is still worth it because you get these tickets. With these tickets, you could buy a lot of rewards.

• New Skins, New Events & More: There will be new events, new skins and more in September.
