Lost Ark Summoner Class Guide: Release Date, Class Engravings, Skills, Awakenings & More

Summoner is an advanced class of Mage in the Korean version of Lost Ark but is not available now in western. Is Summoner be removed? When will Summoner be released in Lost Ark NA & EU? In this Lost Ark Summoner class guide, we’ll talk about the release, weapon, class engravings, identity skills, and awakening skills for this class.

Lost Ark Summoner Class Release Date - When is Summoner Coming to Lost Ark
What are the next classes that are going to be coming out in Lost Ark after Destroyer? According to the leaks on the forum and PVP Proving Grounds, the speculation is that the next class is gonna be Summoner or Reaper. In the PVP Proving Grounds, you can test your mettle against the best opponents, on the Competitive Season 1 Ranking page, the icon of Reaper and Summoner appeared under the major class, they are on the testing servers, which means that they are probably testing them and adjusting something. The release date of Summoner is not confirmed until now, but we should be getting either Summoner or Reaper in June or July summertime.
Lost Ark Summoner Class Weapons
Summoner is one of the advanced classes from the Mage starting class, her dominant role is that of a ranged DPS, she wields a magical rod as her primary Lost Ark weapon, while her musical instrument is the pan flute, just like the other mage classes. Summoner has high sustain damage and synergy in PvE, and high damage in PVP.
Lost Ark Summoner Class Engravings
Like other classes in Lost Ark, Summoner has two class engravings that become obtainable after hitting level 50. These engravings can be learned from skill books obtained as rewards from completing different types of content, they will drastically change the behavior and performance of this class, giving you two very distinct ways of playing it. The name of the engraving would vary in NA/EU versions.
Ancient Energy (Communication Overflow)
Lv. 1: The duration of summoning Carmakul, Ignis, Carnivorous Plants, Shinti, and Hellis is increased by 20%, and their damage by 10%.
Lv. 2: The duration of summoning Carmakul, Ignis, Carnivorous Plants, Shinti, and Hellis is increased by 25%, and their damage - by 15%.
Lv. 3: The duration of summoning Karmakul, Ignis, predatory plants, Shinti, and Hellis increases by 30%, and their damage - by 20%.
Senior Summoner (Master Summoner)
Lv. 1: Ancient Spirit Summoning Skills cost one less Wisdom Orb. Elemental damage increased by 5%.
Lv. 2: Ancient Spirit Summoning Skills cost one less Wisdom Orb. Elemental damage increased by 10%.
Lv. 3: Calling skills of ancient spirits to consume one sphere of wisdom less. Elemental magic damage increased by 15%.
Lost Ark Summoner Identity Skills
Identity skills are unique to every class, they usually involve the accumulation of a special resource, which only that class can generate in combat and use it in particular ways. Summoner builds up Ancient Energy in battle, then when the required number of ancient spheres is reached, she will be able to summon five different ancient spirits at three spheres.
- 3 Spheres: summon Osh, an ancient colossus that stomps the ground, knocking up opponents caught in the area.
- 4 Spheres: summon Margul, an ancient dragon, which inflicts AOE damage and throws opponents upward.
- 5 Spheres: summon Phoenix, an ancient elemental bird that inflicts magical damage and knocks enemies back while setting them on fire.
- 6 Spheres: summon Zahia & Rigueos, two elementals who create a maelstrom around them. The summoner inflicts ice damage and freezes opponents.
- 7 Spheres: summon Akir, an ancient spirit that accumulates energy inflicting the surrounding area with lightning damage before exploding.
Lost Ark Summoner Awakening Skills
The Summoner also has two unique awakening skills, Kelsion and Bagron’s Wrath, these are often referred to as ultimate abilities because of their massive effects in battle, in order to cast these skills, you need chaos shards in your inventory, these can be purchased from general merchants in all the main cities. All awakenings have a 5-minute cooldown, the first awakening can be obtained at level 50 from a purple quest in Trixion, while the second awakening becomes obtainable from a purple quest after completing the main story in Rohandel.
