Diablo 4 1.1.1 Tier List - Best Class & Build

D4 1.1.1 Tier List - Best S1 Class & Build After 1.1.1 Patch

How will Diablo Patch 1.1.1 affect the Season 1 Class & Build Tier List? Sorcerer got some nice boosts for Chain Lightning and Fire Ball, making them more viable than before. They still can't beat Blizzard & Ice Shards, but they improve Sorc's diversity. Barb also got some minor buffs that are noteworthy. Overall, it's a positive patch with some good changes. Now follow us to update the Diablo 4 1.1.1 Tier List.

  • C Tier - Sorcerer (Blizzard)

Since the game came out, Sorcerers have faced more challenges than other classes — they got the most updates. Blizzard adjusted many of the class' Paragon points and made several Legendaries better. Sorcerers are still the most fragile of the five classes, but their big boost in damage should make up for it more than before. Overall, Sorc's performance in the endgame has improved, but it still lacks strong motivation. Now we can see that Blizzard Sorc can be an A-Tier endgame build, Ice Shards and Chain Lightning Sorc also have late-game running possibilities. In terms of speed farming, Sorc still maintains an advantage. Unfortunately, Sorcerers are still not very suitable for running Nightmare Dungeons, Blizzard Sorc may be the only viable one. So we have to regret to say that Sorercer is still the weakest class in the game.

  • B Tier - Barbarian (Double Swing)

For Barbarians, many skills that generate Fury now generate even more, which is a huge boon for early game. Several of their damage-dealing skills like Rupture and Double Swing will also be more powerful once the patch hits.

The buff obtained by Barbarian seems to be more positive than that of Sorcerer. Double Swing is surpassing Whirlwind to become the most powerful Barbarian Build in terms of dungeon pushing. Whirlwind Barb remains its leading place for speed farming and endgame running. Of course, HotA Barb, and Thorns Barb are still good options, while Walking Arsenal Barbarian has improved. All in all, we think Barbarian builds are viable in every aspect of the game, but don't seem to be hitting the best. That's why we still think he's fit for the B-Tier.

  • B Tier - Necromancer (Bone Spear)

Thanks to buffs from skills and aspects in the 1.1.1 patch, Necromancer becomes more powerful. Bone Spear Necro is always one of the best endgame builds, but Infinimist Necro is probably even better at Nightmare Dungeons. Sever Necro is blessed by multiple buffed aspects and can provide more damage. Overall, Necromancer is still upper-middle class, and its numerous variants are always its biggest advantage. Both Bone Spear Necro and Infinimist Necromancer have the highest survivability, massive AOE damage, and Critical Strike burst damage potential. But other Necro builds seem to be doing mediocre.

  • A Tier - Druid (Lightning Shred)

Patch 1.1.1 brings buffs to Druids for Spirit Generation, Spirit Boons, and Minions. And it seems we are going to ge a viable Druid pet build, that's a big step for pet enjoyers. With the increased Spirit generation from basic skills, you can use core skills like Lightning Storm more often, which greatly boost Lightning Storm Druid. Druid has very few changes in skills because he is already a very balanced class. Lightning Shred Druid, Lightning Storm Druid, Pulverize Druid, and Pulverize Druid can now dominate in speed farming and endgames. And Werewolf Tornado Druid is always the most comprehensive.

  • S Tier - Rogue (Flurry Rapid Fire)

There are only some minor improvements to Rogue in Patch 1.1.1 as this class is the most balanced in Diablo 4 since the game launched.  Here we only want to highlight the big buff to ranged builds - the Forceful Arror becomes a viable alternative to Puncture by gaining a substantial buff. For Rogue builds, there's not much to say, we still can see Flurry Rapid Fire Rogue and Twisting Blades Rogue dominate in the whole game, and now Barrage Rogue and Death Trap Rogue are also in the top list.
