Tag: Diablo 4

The Ruins of Eridu is one of the best XP farm dungeons in Diablo 4 Season 1 where players can spawn and defeat many mobs to level up their characters and amass wealth. Whether you prefer to tackle this dungeon solo or with a group, the Ruins of Eridu offers a plethora of opportunities to harvest XP and collect valuable gold. In this guide, we will delve into the most efficient strategies to farm XP in Ruins of Eridu, and we explore the D4 Ruins of Eridu location.

Diablo 4 1.1 Ruins of Eridu Farming Guide: Best Dungeon to Farm XP & Gold for Solo/Group

The dungeon just has an abnormally high amount of monsters and an abnormally high amount of elites in it. Its complex layout and variety of enemy types make it an excellent location for efficient farming. The dungeon is suitable for both solo adventurers and groups looking for cooperative gameplay. You can do this before level 50, you just need to be around level 35 to be able to do this dungeon and you could do this all the way from 30 to 100. But we wouldn't recommend it until you get to World Tier 3, and ideally you do this in World Tier 4 to benefit from the 100% increase experience that the monsters would get. Here is how to find the Ruins of Eridu in Diablo IV Season 1 and farm for XP & Gold.

D4 S1 Best Dungeon to Get GP & XP

The first half of the dungeon just has somewhere around 30 elites between the normal monsters that are there and the ambushes. You are going to find elites consistently in packs of 3 to 4, and every quarter or so of the first half of the energy clear, more monsters will spawn on top of you giving you more packs of 3 to 4 elites just randomly spawning on top of you. And because of all this, this dungeon ends up being the best engine in the game to farm. No matter how fast or slow your build is, you are still going to be killing monsters at proportionately the same speeds, and there's just absolutely nowhere else you can find this many elites at once and elites are the most important thing for farming experience efficiently. So because of that this dungeon is just the best, not only that, you will be getting a stupid amount of D4 gold from this dungeon.

You can walk out of the dungeon with about 100K to 150K raw gold every single run and you get an absolutely full inventory of sacred and ancestral items every single run, and if you vendor all those, that's maybe around another half a million gold per run. So in total with a speed that you can do this on, you are farming somewhere around one and a half ish million gold per hour, maybe even 2 million gold depending on how lucky you get on drops, but it's at least around 1.5 million gold per hour. If you want to compare this to nightmare dungeons or helltide, you're maybe making around 700K to a million golden hour as those methods aren't necessarily super fast unless you're doing low tier helltied and nightmare dungeons. But if you're doing that, then you're actually making much progress because you're not getting a lot of experience. And that is just a low estimate of it, this is probably closer to 2 million gold an hour especially if you're in a group which means this is just substantially better than any other gold farming method in Diablo 4. And since all of the gold comes from yellow items, this is the best source of yellow items in the game, so you are just getting more yellow items than anywhere else possible. So you're generating the biggest chance at getting upgrades. And if you're trying to sell your yellow items to other people, this is probably the best money per hour in the game period. Not only that, but the experience is insane. Experience comes from killing monsters and most certainly elites make up a giant portion of it, and because we have around 30-ish elites in the first half of the dungeon, that means we're just getting massive chunks of experience.

How to Get to Ruins of Eridu - Where is Ruins of Eridu Location in Diablo 4

Located in the Southern region of Hawezar, just East of the Zarbbinze Waypoint, the Ruins of Eridu provides both solo and party players with easy access to slaying hordes of mobs to farm quick XP. The closest Waypoint to this is Vyeresz, this is a waypoint you get for clearing the stronghold. So you'd have to do this first before coming here the easy way or you just come from the main city, it's not that far either, but we just want to make our way to Ruins of Eridu.

Let's talk about this best XP farm dungeon and what there actually is inside of it.

D4 1.1 Best Solo XP Farm Method at Ruins of Eridu

It's a two-part dungeon, the first half is going to require you to clear the whole dungeon. And as soon as you do that a barrier lifts and then you do the second hop. The first half of the dungeon is always the same, there is a long tunnel that then leads you to two circles that are right next to each other. It looks like an infinity sign, and all you're going to do is to go in a giant loop through the infinity sign and clear the whole thing out. As you're doing that as we mentioned about every quarter of the dungeon or so, you'll be ambushed by a pack of monsters. So just randomly have 3 to 4 elites spawn top of your. On the right side as well, you will most of the time see a shrine and sometimes on the left you'll see a shrine as well. And if you get one of those and it has a good effect on it, it actually make you clear the dungeon a lot faster and that massively increases your XP per hour.

After you clear that, the second part will require you to kill two mini bosses before you go to the main boss. But we're not going to worry about that, we're never going to complete the dungeon. And if you are solo, just full clear and go do the second half of the dungeon too. Don't kill the meeting bosses, they just take too long, but just clear a portion of the second half. Go towards the boss, you'll very quickly learn where the boss is because the second half of the dungeon, the layout is always the same, but it changes a little bit. But you always know where the boss is, it's right next to the entrance from the first half of the dungeon, and there's always a few elite packs sometimes in the corner right next to the boss. But if you clear half of that, that's more than enough. The reason you want to do that a solo is because as soon as we're done at the dungeon, you're just going to use your remote wheel, immediately leave the dungeon. You want to move a little bit, otherwise you will spawn in town when you log out. But we're going to leave the dungeon, log out, log back in and that's going to immediately reset the dungeon.

D4 S1 Party XP Farm Method at Ruins of Eridu

If you're in a party, it’s recommended to never do the second half of the dungeon, just full clear the first half. Everyone just immediately leave the dungeon, you are then going to drop party, reform the party and reset the dungeon. Because you don't have to log out and log back in, and you don't have to deal with the loading screen, it makes it substantially more efficient to do the first half which as a single player, because the loading screen of having to log out is not as viable.

What to recommend is to go and abuse this as fast as you can. As mentioned, no matter what, you are proportionally not going to get more experience anywhere else because you simply cannot find a greater density of elite monsters or anything close to this in any other dungeon or any needed space in the game, that would be as efficient as this to farm.
