Best Diablo 4 Shapeshifter Druid Endgame Build - D4 Best Druid Werebear & Werewolf Build for Endgame
4/14/2023 2:56:51 PM

Today we are going to show you how to play shape-shifting Druid endgame Diablo 4, a build that offers high versatility, damage output, and survivability, but requires careful management and investment in gear and items to maximize its potential. The class may not be the most effective in group play or against ranged enemies, but can provide a unique and satisfying playstyle for solo players.

Best Diablo 4 Shapeshifter Druid Endgame Build - D4 Best Werebear & Werewolf Druild Build for Endgame

The best D4 Druid Shapeshifter build is one that shapeshifts to any of the other classes with great rares and a random legendary. It utilizes both Werebear and Werewolf through Hunter's Zenith which has strong synergies with Quickshift, and Nature's Fury Key Passive. Andariel's Visage is a key legendary to take advantage of Envenom, but also Aspect of the Blurred Beast which is completely broken. Here’s everything about the Shapeshifter Druid endgame build in Diablo IV beta.

Best Gears for Shapeshifter Druid Build Diablo 4

  • Helm: Andariel’s Visage

  • Amor: Mad Wolf’s Glee

  • Ring: Hunter’s Zenith

  • Aspects: Aspect of the Blurred Beast, Smiting Aspect, Vigorous Aspect, Wind Striker Aspect, Stormclaw’s Aspect

The first item you want is helm, this helm slot is going to be Andariel’s Visage, it's going to give you a 10 to 20% chance to trigger a Poison Nova that deals 1100 poison damage over 5 seconds. This build is going to be utilizing envenom, causes poisoned enemies to take 30% increased critical strike damage, this is a big component of the build, you're going to want your enemies to be poisoned and you're going to see a lot of poison synergy throughout a lot of the gear that we look at. It's also synergy with Aspect of the Blurred Beast while dashing shred seeks out nearby poisoned enemies instantly dealing 60 to 90% of the poison damage to them. We're putting this into an amulet slot, so it's actually more like 90 to 120% of the poison damage to them. We're going to be in Werewolf, so we're going to want Mad Wolf’s Glee, it's going to give +2 ranks to all werewolf skills keep you in werewolf form permanently. Smiting Aspect, we need lots of critical strike in this build, this is going to give you 12 to 25% increase critical strike chance against injured enemies and you're also going to get 25 to 50% increased crowd control duration. There is a bunch of crowd control in this build as well. Vigorous Aspect, it's our only defensive, defenses can only be put into leg slots, so you might as well choose at least one, this one gives you 10 to 15% damage reduction while you're werewolf. So that's both elemental and physical just all around damage reduction is really great. When it comes to boots, you can put in boots to the utility or movement speed, might as well get some mobility, critical strike is super important, it's going to give you 8 to 16% movement speed up to 6 seconds every time you get a critical strike which we're going to be getting a bunch of crits with this build. What's really great here is what we're going to put on the weapon, which is Stormclaws Aspect, critical strikes with shred deal 20 to 30% of the damage dealt as lightning damage to the target and surrounding enemies. This is going to give you a ton of AOE potential, it's going to give you 40 to 60% bonus damage. Every time you get a crit with shred and that's going to be AOE. We already got the aspect of the Blurred Beast, so you can be doing all that poison damage done instantly to them with Andariel’s Visage for 1000% or 1000 damage instantly. In addition, it doesn't get rid of the poison effect, so it effectively doubles your poison damage. Hunter’s Zenith is just completely broken, gain a bonus when you kill with a shape-shifting skill, when you kill with a werewolf skill, your next non-ultimate wear bear skill costs no resources and has no cooldown.

D4 Beta Werewolf Druid Build Playstyle

The Shapeshifter Druid build is all about switching between different animal forms to adapt to different combat situations. In general, you'll want to use Werewolf form for single-target damage and mobility, and Werebear form for crowd control and tanking.

Use Maul and Swipe to deal damage in Werebear form, and Fury to increase your attack speed and critical strike chance in Werewolf form. Use Harden to increase your armor and resistances in Werebear form, and Roar to debuff enemies and buff allies. Ground Stomp can be used to stun enemies and interrupt their attacks.
