This new ladder brings Burst of Speed for everyone! Hustle has some pretty good potential for many melee builds in D2R. Also a great prebuff alternative for Ubers & Dclone early into the ladder.

We've been given the opportunity to reveal a d2r rune word that can be made in both a weapon and an armor, we present you hustle , it’s got a pretty cool name and also some pretty cool stats.

Patch 2.6 PTR Changes

But before we go over these, we'd like to mention that the guy who made the blue pose before, made another blue post saying that this should be a PTR coming in the next week if you're not sure about what this PTR thing is or where to find it we've got you covered, simply go to your Battlenet client click on your game version or where it likely says Diablo 2 resurrected and then select public test Realm, as mentioned before, these runewords should be available for testing in the upcoming patch within the next week which means that things could change between now and when season 3 starts.

Hustle Weapon & Hustle Armor

Let's get into the Runeworld, the weapon provides a five percent chance to cast level 9 burst of speed which is honestly huge for any melee class looking to use this weapon in the early game, it is also an amazing pre-buffle alternative for something like Ubers or d-clone in the earlier stages of the ladder, similar to the fade prop from treachery, but with about a minute Less on its duration, it also comes with 30 increased attack speed, 130 to 150 enhanced damage, 75 damage to Undead, plus 50 to attack rating against Undead, and plus 10 to dexterity, these additional stats would be quite nice for people who managed to find a good weapon base early on.

The armor on the other hand doesn't come with the burst of speed proc, but it does provide you with a whopping 50 faster remark, 20 increase attack speed, 20 faster heat recovery, plus 10 to dexterity, and 50 slower stamina drain.

Thoughts About Hustle Rune Word

Now we're going to share the personal opinion on these, we think that the hustle weapon is a great addition, especially with the chance to cast burst of speed on striking, we could see the chance or the level of the skill changing after the PTR, but we'll have to see what happens, as for the armor, this one seems a bit underwhelming to us, mostly due to the fact that faster Run Walk has diminishing returns and this armor also lacks some kind of resistance such as physical damage reduction or plus to all resistances, we could see the armor being improved with something like Vigor or increased speed, even a percentage chance for burst of speed when struck would make it considerable, another alternative could be something like up to five teleport charges that way it could be useful for those early MF runs or when venturing through hell difficulty without the need for a Teleport stuff, we believe the other stats are in a pretty good spot, especially since these items are heavily catered towards Miller characters, they could maybe use some very minor fine tuning, but we think the core focus should be around the interesting additions of burst of speed, and other possible speed related skills.
