With the last patch, they buffed the poise damage of pretty much all Elden Ring armor sets. Then what are the new best armor pieces to get in the game now? The poise-to-weight ratio will give us the number of how much points we get for every single weight point, so here we’ll bring you the list of Elden Ring best armor after 1.07 with the highest poise-to-weight ratio for each category, and the lightest armor combo to reach different poise breakpoints.
Elden Ring Best Armor 1.07 - Highest Poise-to-Weight Ratio Armor in Elden Ring After Patch
Patch 1.07 did not only buff armor poise, but also the poise damage of Elden Ring weapons, so the best ratio post-patch should be a little higher than before. According to The Talking Mausoleum, below let’s take an overview of the top 10 best poise/weight ratio armor for each category in Elden Ring 1.07.
To choose the best armor in Elden Ring, you should not only consider the poise/weight ratio but also the Equip Load to ensure the armor is not too heavy. For example, the most lightweight chest armor would be Aristocrat Garb, and Bullgoat make up the bottom of the list, it is going to be the max poise armor in the first category as it has 47 poise, so sometimes you still need to use it, but in general try to avoid if you can, as it is way less efficient and the heaviest one. There are a bunch of items that give around 24 points but depending on the breakpoint we will be going for, this isn't always going to be enough. This list also comes with the poise damage and weight of each armor piece, you can take a look before making your build.

In summary, Veteran and Bullgoat armor sets are probably not the best choices after patch 1.07, veterans used to have some of the best ratios, but have fallen off with the new patch, Bullgoat is still the armor that gives you the highest poise overall but is all the way at the bottom of the list when it comes to poise to weight ratio. What is the best poise armor in Elden Ring? The Crucible set is the winner of this patch for high-poise armor being pretty much the first choice in any case where lighter armor doesn't cut it anymore. Then the Knights and Fingerprints armor sets are still top of the line for the medium weight range, the most poise-efficient pieces generally come from the lightest stuff like the Aristocrat.
