Meet the Trap Assassin or Trapsin for sure. A Trapsin uses a combination of lightning and death sentry traps, providing excellent lightning and corpse explosion damage. Alongside this, the Trapsin has incredible utility such as fade, burst of speed, cloak of shadows and shadow master. Combining this all together allows the Trapsin to effectively farm high levels of the game extremely early on. Most importantly, the Trapsin can take on nilfak in the halls of wart without any high-end gear, and Nilfisk has a chance to drop keys of destruction. These keys are especially valuable early on in the ladder. Because people are wanting tortures and other classes really do struggle to kill nilfak early on. So the strategy is fairly simple:

1. Start ladder with an assassin.

2. Get the minimum levels and gear needed to start farming keys of destruction.

3. Trade these for whatever your heart desires.

Skills, Stats & Gears For The Trapsin

Skill Tree For Traps

- Lightning and Death Sentry: These are your two big damage dealers, so focus on maxing these out.

Skill Tree For Shadow Disciplines

Shadow disciplines has all your utility, putting one point into everything except for venom, the plaster skills you'll get from gear makes all of these one point investments very strong. The most notable skills here are:

- Burst of Speed: It increases your attack speed and run walk speed.

- Fade: It gives a massive boost to resistance and also gives a hidden physical damage reduction of 1% per level.

- Weapon Block: It gives the Assassin the ability to block most elemental missile or physical attacks, much like the amazons avoid and evade skills. these would be very cheap at the start of a ladder season. They provide great attack speed meaning your traps will lay faster and with one point invested into weapon block, you will have a 46% chance to block. If you can get yourself a Spirit Monarch early on, definitely do that. However, the Ancients Pledge

There are other 2 things, one is to get yourself a wand or a Battle Staff Of Lower Resistance if you did want to farm some of the act bosses such as mephisto.
