Elden Ring Rune serves as the player's experience points (EXP). Accumulating runes level up the player's character. Runes also function as the in-game currency. They can be used to purchase items from merchants across the Lands Between. Upon death, the player drops all currently held runes at their death point. If the player dies again before rune recovery, the dropped runes are lost permanently and cannot be retrieved. Elden Ring made one big change to an exploit which requires you to do specific tasks to get a bunch of runes. Today we’re going to be showing you an after-the-patch Elden Ring rune farming method of still being able to do this exploit.

Elden Ring Rune Farming Locations

First, you're going to open up your map and then first, travel to the Rose Church. There should be a character which is called White Mask just standing at the entrance to the church. You're going to walk up to him speak to him and he's going to give you 3 quests that are PvP related. You're going to go ahead and finish them, it shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes to complete.

Elden Ring Rune Farming Rewards

Upon finishing them, return to White Mask, speak to him and he's going to give you a reward. This reward is going to be a medallion if you go ahead and interact with it, it is going to teleport you to a different part of the map. Upon getting to the underworld, you're going to go ahead and actually travel to Dynasty Mausoleum Entrance. From this location, you are then going to proceed to jump off the cliff summon and your mount. You're going to run past the trees, run past all the enemies, you do not want to engage with them and you're going to make your way over to the cliffside. You're going to go jump in the corner and then proceed to start climbing it. Your objective is to land on the platforms, there is going to be one invisible just in the middle. Just jump on it and then proceed to climb to the top of these cliffs.

Elden Ring Rune Farming Methods

In the original method, you would go to the left side of the cliff and then you would jump in the crater, swing a weapon and you get a bunch of runes. But now if you do that, you will die and lose all of your runes. So the workaround is actually to go to the right side instead of the left side. You're going to go behind all these cliffs and make your way all the way to the other side of the cliff face. Then proceed to do a single jump, follow up with a double jump, and in constantly swing your weapon for about 60 seconds. After that, you can receive anywhere between 150 all the way upwards of 1.1 million runes. Upon receiving your runes, you are then going to go ahead and open up your map and then simply travel back to the rest point where we started this off from where you're going to go to the rest point and repeat this method and farm yourself these runes for as long as you want. It is a really easy method and is definitely worth doing.

Elden Ring Rune Farming Tips

First of all, if you want to get more runes, you should have a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot and a Gold Scarab. You also want to be on a higher playthrough. If you are someone who's on the first-second playthrough, you're looking at about 150,000 runes and that is with the Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot and the Golden Scarab. If you're someone who is on the 9 Plus or 10 Plus play through basically a really high play through, you're going to be getting around a million runes every single time. So you can definitely take advantage of this and farm yourself these easy runes.
