2 - Weapons & Equipment

- Grave Scythe: it is a strength scaling Scythe that has a passive blood loss effect, requiring 17 strength and 13 dexterity to wield it, it can do a huge chunk of damage if you hit them enough times, and you can use any Ash of War that is compatible with it, you can also give it the heavy affinity to get the B scaling on the strength.

- Ash of War Spinning Strikes: it will basically make you swing your weapon above your head, the damage is really good and you can even press light attack or heavy attack while spinning to do an additional move, the only downside is the lack of hyper armor, avoid getting interrupted as much as possible.

- Erdtree Seal/Golden Order Seal/Frenzied Flame Seal/Dragon Communion Seal: put a seal in the left hand to cast incantations, any seal will do, but some options that have zero weight are recommended, like the four seals listed.

3 - Armor

The Knight’s Cavalry Armor is a good choice because it has a cool looking and keeps you at medium load, to get it, you need to go to the Inner Consecrated Snowfield Site of Grace and travel southwest until you find the moving caravan, you need to find two night's Cavalry bosses and defeat both of them to get the armor set. For the helmet, you can use the Black Hood or White Mask, which gives you +10% damage when you proc a blood loss effect.

4 - Incantations

- Golden Vow: increases damage by 15 and boosts defense by 10 for 80 seconds, 25 faith is required to cast it.

- Flame, Grant Me Strength: increases physical damage and fire damage by 20% for 30 seconds, 15 faith is needed.

- Bloodflame Blade: it will add a blood loss status effect on the Grave Scythe, which makes the weapon more effective, and 12 faith and 10 arcane are needed.

- Swarm of Flies: this one is optional, it can be useful to help trigger the blood loss status effect on the enemy, but it is not necessary. 11 faith and 16 arcane are required.

5 - Flask of Wondrous Physick

- Thorny Cracked Tear: increases damage by 9%, 13%, and 20% when you make consecutive attacks.

- Opaline Bubbletear: negates the damage by 90% but goes away after the first hit.

6 - Talismans

- Shard of Alexander: boosts the skill damage by 15%, which is for the Spinning Strikes Ash of War, if you can’t get it, you can use its inferior version which is called Warrior Jar Shard, which is easier to get.

- Rotten Winged Sword Insignia: increases the attack power with successive attacks by 6%, 8%, and 13%, this is also compatible with the Ash of War Spinning Strikes, which makes the damage of this build become insanely high.

- Bull-Goat’s Talisman: increases the poise by 33% and reduces poise damage taken by 25%, it helps prevent you from getting interrupted when you are using the Ash of War.

- Lord of Blood’s Exultation: increases damage by 20% for 20 seconds when blood loss occurs, the Grave Scythe has the blood loss buildup passive effect, so this talisman will be very useful.

To beat the boss, you are going to want to use three buffs, the first one is the Wondrous Physick for the Thorny Cracked Tear and Opaline Bubbletear, and then the Golden Vow, the last one is Flame Grant Me Strength. Cast your Swarm of Flies at the beginning as it triggers the blood loss around you and this will boost your damage.
