This is a really fun and powerful Elden Ring build to do. This involves status effects and Rot while also hitting hard with the Rotten Great Axe. This is a solid build for NG+ and beyond and does both good damage from your strength stat as well as the Rot damage.

Tips for Playing this Build

-Good point about heavy vs keen on the rotten axe. The scaling Letter grades in this game are generally a bit misleading, as they don't factor in the base AR of the weapon. Usually, it's best to use an AR calculator to see what affinity gives you the most damage.
-If you're not in NG+ and starting a strength build, we've found that for the early game, the rusted anchor with spear talisman (both are easy to get immediately) will carry you thru mid-game and beyond. Counter damage on pierce weapons is so strong and the anchor has significant base damage.
-Don’t forget that highland axe in the offhand. Give it beast roar and it’s a nice ranged attack and a 10% dmg bonus on all roars and attacks after roars.
-On scaling, each level actually has a range so even if something is B scaling, it could be high B scaling or low scaling.
