Here is a tier list by EldenKing ranked from the worst to best weapons and builds for Elden Ring PvP duels and invasions.

Top 8 - Prince of Darkness

Use Bloodflame on Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear and combine it with the frenzy flame on Vyke's War Spear, making this build have strong fire damage, there will be a red and yellow flames combo, if you can debate them into a flame and frenzy drop, you're going to do some massive damage. It would be more effective to only use Vyke's Spear and go all in on the faith to scale with the frenzy attacks, but this build is cooler with the Bloodflame added in, overall this is kind of a hybrid faith slash arcane build.

Top 7 - Whips & Ancient Lightning

Duel whips with the Thunderbolt Ash of War on your main hand, this will allow you to dominate at mid-range combat plus the whips actually have a mean crouch poke, use a Keen in your Urumi for your left side whip as it has an S attribute scaling for dexterity, then go ahead and use all the ancient red lightning spells to complete your transformation into a lightning god. Whenever you're using a faith build you can throw the Cipher Pata in your second slot in case you need it, not only does it scale with faith, but it literally weighs nothing, this is a dex/lightning build that can be lethal.

Top 6 - Ninja Turtle

Nagakiba is a katana even longer than most spears with its super long reach, you can use spinning slash AOW and Bloodflame. The Turtle Shell gives you increased stamina regen, throw it on your back to get that increased stamina and some extra defense and turn into a more Ninja Turtle with this build. Arcane has a hard cap of around 40 or 45, it’s not recommended to level up your arcane in anything past that.

Top 5 - Unga Bunga & Crouch Poke

This is a full-on strength and high poise build, the Greatsword crouch poke is a legendary move used only by the finest PVP players, use this with caution, the crouch poke is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. All you need is one good hit with Lion's Claw, Wild Hunt, or RKR FOR AOW. You clapping cheeks with this build, it's definitely worth trading blowers with an enemy, and with a high poise you can do, so successfully you can even light up your heavy great sword with fire grease for even more attack power.

Top 4 - Magic Samurai

This is an intelligence and dexterity build, you got the Moonveil Katana front and center even after the nerf, and this weapon art still makes you a monster at medium to close range, then go ahead and use the cheesiest spells you have, Carian, Cold, or Glintblade spells can be used. This build will dominate at invasions and in duels.

Top 3 - Bloody Spears

Some use the smaller and faster thrusting swords, having that length and the Cross-Naginata has got to be one of the longest weapons in the game, this is a simple straightforward strategy with such a strong bleed build up, you only need a couple of pokes and bloody, using seppuku on left-hand spear but then got Beast's Roar on the main hand to be even more annoying.

Top 2 - Strength, Faith, and Flames

Blasphemous blade is probably one of the best strength and faith weapons in the game, high attack power, strong weapon art and does fire damage, so it fits with this build. You can use a mix of giants flame and frenzy flame incantations, you can charge up this giant fireball and surprise your enemy with it. Flaming Strike AOW on a curved greatsword is good as well. The main entree is these frenzy flame spells, most people already know that madness is strong in PvP, they're based on fire damage as well, so buffing out fire attack power will be super effective at this point.
