This is a Vykas raid guide in Lost Ark, unlike Valtan, Vykas Normal and Hard are different, hard has additional critical wipe mechanics and normal patterns, so this guide will cover the difference between the two, both difficulties normal will require your item level to be 1430 and 1460 for hard mode.
About Gate 2
Vykas Gate 2 has only 2 wipe mechanics, you must restart the raid if you have less than 3 people pre 65 lines no matter how strong you are.

Predetermined Positions
Before entering the fight, you'll need to pre-determine your positions, you'll need to memorize that two of the first five people will stand in the middle forming a plus sign, and the other leftover three will be at eleven three and seven o'clock positions, this is for the first wipe mechanic Purple-Fold/Red-Unfold (120 lines), you’ll need to memorize your spot. Wipe Mechanic: Purple-Fold/Red-Unfold

Purple-Fold/Red-Unfold Additional Notes:
Here are some of the additional notes to know for this mechanic, shadow clones will usually be placed at 11, 3, and 7 o'clock positions, but sometimes they are placed a little bit skewed, so make sure to check that and move accordingly to find out the shadows pose, you cannot take more than one color-determining orb, you will die immediately, for the three clone checking members, it is crucial to come back to the center to get to the proper safe spot fast enough.
Wipe Mechanic: Red & black Orbs
