NBA 2k23 Guide: New Battle Royale Mode In NBA 2K23
5/28/2022 5:52:47 PM

NBA 2K23 is about to start, its expected NBA 2K23 release date will be Friday, September 9, 2022, this is based on the previous NBA 2K21 and NBA 2K22 release date speculation out, so today to see the specifics of this new mode added to NBA 2K23. A battle royale on 2k23 is a basketball battle royale, now stick with this, because this one's going to sound kind of crazy, but they have to take the risk, NBA 2k is at a state where a lot of people are not happy with the game.

NBA 2K23

NBA 2k23 Guide: New Battle Royale Mode In NBA 2K23

Why Start-Up The New Battle Royale Mode Mode In NBA 2k23?

A major change could turn the NBA 2K23 around for the better, and they don't have much to lose, if they make a major change and it kind of flunks and fails miserably people already didn't really like the game anyway, don't have much to lose, but if it's great, people are going to be loving the game again.

Some of the ideas might sound a little cheesy, but it's like you gotta have a way to implement a battle royale into basketball, they could get a battle royale off, so it would be a next-gen exclusive,  they have this city over there, and this could be something that brings the player base over to the next-gen if it's a fun mode, they have this city. The city makes it bigger, with a lot of stuff inspired by basketball.

Maybe not the exact city that they have the playground in or whatever,  but something similar to that kind of concept, and you are in a lobby of 99 others, so 100 total people all spawn into this battle royale, they have three different modes, they have solos aka 1v1 matches, they have duos 2v2 matches and trios 3v3 matches with your squads.

NBA 2k23 New Battle Royale Mode: How They Can Implement This In NBA 2k23?

Everyone starts off at maybe a neutral like six foot four, and like a blanket 65 overall something like that, and then scattered across the map, to see things like attribute upgrades, just lying around in chests and as luke kind of like you would see in other battle royales, as you go to a chest and inside of that chest.

There's a plus-two three-pointer you pick that up, and it increases your three-pointer, maybe another chest has like a certain badge that you can equip, maybe another chest has a height extension of like two inches. The height stuff that would be kind of crazy, maybe you pick up extra two inches of height, but that lows your speed a little bit, of course, giving you the height benefits as you would see in the actual.

Player builder, if you have one in your team of threes, maybe he can get up to seven-foot, he's gonna be kind of slow like you would be in the actual NBA 2K23, and then maybe you get a couple of subtraction heights and you go down like six.

Once you're a fast play shot and you can kind of build your players, maybe let you hold like 10 different badges, so it brings in that battle royale concept, but you can only carry so much loot, you have to decide what you want which is a huge aspect for things like Fortnite or call of duty or apex.

These different things where you can only carry so much, you have to make those decisions, so maybe only let you carry so many badges.

Like shoes or arm sleeves or headbands scattered around that increase your attributes or maybe give you some boosts to different things or maybe give you Gatorade or different badge upgrades or something like that so essentially, you have all this loot spread across this entire big old city like you would any battle royale, and then as you're running into other players, once you get within range you click, a button that challenges them to a 1v1 or if you're on twos or 2v2 or whatever the case may be and you challenge them, and then the winners, of course, move on and then the losers drop, all the loot and they lose, so it almost comes becomes this huge match of the king of the court where you're just taking on everybody in the last team standing win, it'd be a little bit different than maybe some of the other battle rounds, but it's a basketball game, so you kind of have to implement it in a basketball manner, but they could do something like this with enough thought and enough ideas with it, they could make it happen, there's something ambitious enough that can make the NBA 2K23 entertaining if it's executed well, it would be hard to do, but they could do it.

Like you have your team, you're running into another team and bam the goals pop up out of the floor which is a little cheesy, but it's like if you make this huge basketball realm, you can kind of get away with the idea that it's like some kind of a basketball world where things like this happen almost like space jam that's something you would see in a spaceship-like a basketball hoop just shoot straight out the floor and bam, you're ready to go to the hoop and it could be fun, if maybe you don't have too much loot and you run into someone already looted up,  they're like 90 overalls, you're sitting around at like a 72 overall and you kind of got to try to win at the low overall, and it would still be possible to win these matches, the battle royale match would be very long.

That would be a huge issue with the basketball idea, you'd have to kind of come up with ways of like, if two teams run into each other and a third team's coming in how do you do it, maybe implement some things like a horse or maybe even let people play 1v2 1v3, it would be interesting, they'd have to work some of it out, but that's kind of idea.

NBA 2k23 New Battle Royale Mode: The Baseline Idea For A Battle Royale

Some different ways to polish it up, but it's like that's the baseline idea for a battle royale, you kind of land into this big city, you have this loot for attributes and jump shots and that could be even something like specific jump shots, maybe you find like derrick rose base on the floor or base three on the floor, and you can build your jump shot with that as well that's another piece of loot.

They could have on the floor different dribble moves, different dribble animations, maybe have everyone start off on a baseline default like all the baseline, the baseline dribble moves the default dunks, the default jump shot and you can even find all those animations on loot,

they would make it fun and exciting every single match because you would really have a new experience every single time you land one time, maybe you're going to be a play shop build, the next time you might end up being more of a lock build that could shoot and dribble.

You should be able to make demigod builds in something like this, if you find a bunch of good loot if you win like six games in a row, you pick up a bunch of ball handling and dribbling loot. There should be maybe soft caps at certain heights like if you're 73, don't let you get like 99 speed, 99 ball handling, all that kind of crazy stuff, but how maybe even let you get it, maybe let people become demigods and it might just be a fun mode to mess around.

How hard it would be for NBA 2k to implement, but if it's like if it's not that hard to implement throw it in there and see how people like it. The battle royale craze is their people love the battle royale games warzone Fortnite apex loved love to love the games very popular.
