NBA 2K22 Best Animations (Dribbles Moves, Scoring Moves, Dunks, Jumpshot) for Every Build in Season 6
Here we are going to give you the best animations for every build on both Next Gen and Current Gen. We highly recommend you read this entire guide, so that way you know how to use these animations as well as alternate animations for different builds and play styles. Let's hop right into it.
NBA 2K22 Season 6 Best Dribble Moves (Dribbling Sigs)
Dribbling Style: Quick, C. Gray
Quick
The quick dribbling style is all around and the best dribbling style that we've been using pretty much this entire year. It does one of the fastest speed boosts out of all the dribbling styles, but probably more importantly it has the best connectors which are really important to string together dribble moves.
C. Gray
Also if you want to you can use C. Gray, there's also a very good drilling style with the exact same connectors, its speed boost is a little bit different, we can not say if it is better but some people like it more.
Signature Size-Up: Steve Francis, Derrick Rose, Tracy McGrady, Zach LaVine
Steve Francis
This is a brand new animation in Season 6 and is by far the best animation added this season. It's all around and glitchy, its crossover animation is super fast, so for those of you that just want to left-right, this is going to be a very good option. Just to string together some crazy animations especially with this behind the back, it kind of just lets you walk back almost.
Derrick Rose
This is going to be a better option for all of you out there that just want a left right speed boost, so its crossover animation is just unmatched.
Tracy McGrady
If you're taller than 6'4, then you can use Tracy McGrady, this is also a super good option that can still left right, however this time you're going to want to do it with the behind the back instead of the crossover.
Zach LaVine
Also if you really low ball handling, you can use Zach LaVine, this is not the best animation in the world in our opinion but it's still very good
Signature Combo: Steve Nash, Trey Young, Paul George
Steve Nash
This is also a brand new Season 6 animation, it's all around pretty decent and the first triple move is kind of an in and out dribble move that is super glitchy and super good to speed boost out of.
Trey Young
But if you do want something more fast and kind of more traditional, then we would recommend using Trey Young instead.
Paul George
You can get way more of a fast combo that is very good and then after Trae young if you can't unlock this, then just go with Paul George which is all-around pretty decent
Size-Up Escape Package: Kemba Walker, Trea Young, Damian Lillard, Lebron James
Kemba Walker
Kemba Walker is yet again another season 6 animation that is all around super good it has a decent big cross animation that's not great to crab people with, but it's super good to speed boost out of or combo out of. This is one of the best stepback animations in the game as it is super duper fast and good, you also get the good explosive behind the back animation which is very helpful. This size-up escape package is super easy to combo with, especially if you use the Steve Francis six size up.
Trea Young
Trea Young is a bit more common animation with some good and bad moves, but it can do the big crossover and the fake-out behind the back, all around definitely, try this thing out you never know it might be the best size of escape package for you.
Damian Lillard
Another great option you can use is the Damian Lillard size of escape package, this gives you the biggest stepback animation, we don't know if it's necessarily better than the Kemba Walker size of escape package, but it's definitely all around. Just like Trea Young, it has some good animations and then some not so good animation.
Lebron James
A really good low ball handle alternative is the LeBron James size of skate package this gives you the best step back animation which can be overpowered, especially on tall builds.
Moving Crossover: Lebron James, Scottie Pippen
Lebron James
The first moving crossover animation you want to go with is also the all-around Lebron James, as it pretty much has no bad animations. Lebron James is the biggest crossover animation and also has a really good double crossover animation and between the legs animation.
Scottie Pippen
For the moving behind the back, we would recommend going with Scottie Pippen, this gives you the really fast and glitchy move that almost launches you forwards, all around this is super good whether you're just using it to get up and down the floor or to ISO build.
Moving Spin: Basic
Basic
Basic is the best ISO dribble move on this list and gives you the really glitchy spin back animation, which honestly is the only spin back left in the game
Moving Hesitation: Kyrie Irving, Luca Doncic or Larry Bird
Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving gives you the hop heavy animation which is really easy to shoot out of a speed boost out of or combo out of and for this reason, is the best heavy animation probably, the main reason you would want to use is for its little bounce back animation, which if you can master is super hard to guard and overpower.
Luca Doncic or Larry Bird
Also if you're unable to unlock Kyrie Irving, you can use either Luca Doncic or Larry Bird, they both give you the exact same hobby animation.
Moving Stepback: Jimmy Butler,
Jimmy Butler
This is not the stepback that creates the most space or anything, but it's definitely the stepback that is by far the fastest, just like the high revving hesitation animation this is a really good animation to shoot out of, combo out of and it's all around just very good. You get a similar bounce back animation which is a lot easier to trigger.
Triple Threat Style: Pro
Pro
Honestly we don't think your triple threat style really matters, every animation is a little bit different but we don't think it matters too much in the grand scheme of things.
NBA 2K22 Best Shot Creating and Post Scoring Animations in Season 6
Dribble Pull-Up: Normal
Normal
This is the easiest dribble pull-up at the time in our opinion and is really good when you're fading in the corners. Dribble pull-ups are honestly just all about preference, just try out different dribble pull-ups and see which one works the best for you.
Spin Jumper: Penny Hardaway, Pro
Penny Hardaway
When you use this animation, you get this spin move into kind of a step back which is really cool, it's on the most effective spin jumper in the world since it's kind of slow, but it's definitely really fun to use, although from our experience it's definitely not the best on the 1v1.
Pro
If you want something faster and more traditional, then we recommend using pro, it's definitely a much faster animation that's probably more practical as well.
Hop Jumper: Kyrie Irving, Pro 2
Kyrie Irving
Kyrie Irving could be your first option for hop jumper, as it come with the powerful animation that seems nobody can guard
Pro 2
Pro 2 move is another great option, this creates more space and is definitely much more quick, although you don't get the same glitchy animation that you would get with Kyrie Irving.
Post Fade: Pro 4
Pro 4
It is the fastest and post fade, creates the most space
Post Hook: Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid
Joel Embiid is really overpowered, impossible to contest and super easy to green.
Post Hop Shot: Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis
This post hop shot creates the most space with the hop, also you don't have to use this in the traditional hop shot way either like, there's a ton of creative ways to use this hopshot just to create some space.
NBA 2K22 Best Jumpshot in Season 6
Base: Jump Shot 3
Release 1: Paul George
Release 2: Rudy Gay
Release Speed: Max
Animation Blending: 60% Release 1, 40% Release 2
This is one of the fastest jump shots in the game and works for pretty much every single build in this game, and also it is really easy to time and green.
