A crazy announcement of the Diablo 2 Resurrected PTR date and the huge patch notes that came out but were overlooked in that huge patch notes, there was actually another Diablo 2 runewords obsession that was never revealed before. Today take a look at it right now.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Runeworld Guide- Patch 2.4 New Runeword Obsession Details

Obsession

This D2R runewords(base) is an obsession, it is a staff only D2R runeword on top of that it uses a Zod rune, so the Zod rune is not particularly used a lot, but is incredibly rare to find on the battle net, usually, they're not that expensive, just because there are so few uses for it.

This is an incredible all-around Diablo 2 item right here, the four to all skills now the reason that people are going to be like well a hotel and a spirit have five. You need to remember is that not only the rune word is the good part of this Diablo 2 Resurrected item you got to remember the base too, and it's not going to be like. It's the difference between making it in a base that just is not superior or a superior one, there's going to be such an incredible variety, you can make one of these.

War staff

The six open sockets on staff that are the only bases that you can get are six open sockets on certain staffs, a lot of them the max is four, so it's gonna there are a few varieties that can get six open sockets and offhand.

A lot of the energy shield builds for like the immortal sorceress type builds and stuff like that's gonna be a useful one, but you could go with lightning source resist where you'll have lightning mastery and then you know static or something on there. Each one of these obsession rune words is going to be specific for a different type of sorceress, so it's incredibly interesting the way.

Crystalline globe

This is a class-specific D2R item for the sorcerers, but it is an orb you could get the same type of skills here for the staff.

The next season you would have this base in order to make the rune word in, and this one's a christening globe, but it has three to cold mastery three to blizzard, and then two to firewall along with life as well, so that type of stuff, you can get life and mana along with it there, but it's only one off of the three for the firewall, but for like a blizzard sorceress that had firewall as secondary damage to try to get around immunities and stuff that's like exactly what you're looking for on the staff or something to make obsession. This is gonna be something that's gonna be interesting.
