Diablo 2 Resurrected Unique Rings - Best and Worst Unique Rings in D2R

Alzorath simply put Diablo 2 rings in different categories, from the top, popular tier to relatively useless options. Now let’s get into the best D2R unique rings first.

1. Most popular unique rings in D2R

This group features rings that are used a lot in the game, at least a few are going to be in the late-game multiplayer sessions you're in.

Raven Frost

Raven Frost, an all-around good ring with attack rating dexterity and cannot be frozen, being its main selling points, but also packs some cold absorb and cold damage for some fun, on the side, it's overall a fairly solid ring even if you get some of the lower rolls on the bonuses and that cannot be frozen is super important for good characters that require attack speed as one of their major things because Chill can really ruin their day.

Raven Frost

Raven FrostRequired Level: 45
+150-250 To Attack Rating (varies)
Adds 15-45 Cold Damage, 4 sec. Duration (Normal)
Cannot Be Frozen
+15-20 To Dexterity (varies)
+40 To Mana
Cold Absorb 20%
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.09 or later)

Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band

Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band offers plus skills, life leech, and a variable life boost based on level, it's decent though it does have a fairly high-level requirement compared to the other plus skill ring, it is still pretty distinct for having that plus skill since that is only available on unique rings, there's a fairly decent skill ring if you need extra life instead of mana, or if you're running a melee cast or hybrid build of some sort that would actually get something out of the life leech and plus skills at the same time.

Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band

Bul-Kathos' Wedding BandRequired Level: 58
+1 To All Skills
+ (0.5 Per Character Level) 0-49 To Life (Based On Character Level)
3-5% Life Stolen Per Hit (varies)
+50 Maximum Stamina
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.09 or later)

The Stone of Jordan

Speaking The Stone of Jordan, which is usually referred to as SOJ, is the original skill ring that was one of the most duped items in the original game, and for good reason, plus skills a significant boost of mana, though it has actually like lightning damage that feels like a bit of an afterthought. This ring was so popular at a point that it was the currency of D2R, only later to be replaced with Diablo 2 runes, while not too useful for your melee characters, having a couple of these in storage is going to make your casters very happy.

Stone of Jordan

Stone of JordanRequired Level: 29
+1 To All Skills
Increase Maximum Mana 25%*
Adds 1-12 Lightning Damage
+20 To Mana
(Spawns In Any Patch)

2. Magic find unique ring options in D2R

These unique rings are usually fairly sought after, even if their bonuses aren't the most amazing.

Nagelring

At the bottom of the list but most well-known is Nagelring, it has a variable amount of magic find, but as usual, the higher the better. It also has a couple of good mods for how low level the requirement is, which is an okay attack rating boost for the level some magic damage reduction, as well as damage return.

Nagelring

NagelringRequired Level: 7
Magic Damage Reduced By 3
+50-75 To Attack Rating (varies)
Attacker Takes Damage of 3*
15-30% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items (varies)
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.09 or later)

Wisp Projector

The other Magic Find ring is extremely uncommon due to its high-level requirement to drop, that is Wisp Projector, a confusing-looking ring that actually has some special uses once you get past its odd list of charges and casting lightning on striking. It's lightning absorb ring with magic find, this is key because it makes going through gloam dense areas, along with giving you a pinch of magic find, though it is very niche sense, outside of this use, there's not much justification for equipping it.

Wisp Projector

Wisp ProjectorRequired Level: 76
10% Chance To Cast Level 16 Lightning On Striking
Lightning Absorb 10-20% (varies)
10-20% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items (varies)
Level 7 Spirit of Barbs (11 charges)
Level 5 Heart of Wolverine (13 charges)
Level 2 Oak Sage (15 charges)
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.10 or later)

3. Rarely used but useful unique rings in D2R

Dwarf Star

Dwarf Star is a rarely used but useful unique ring in Diablo 2, it does give a bit of life and magic damage reduction, and a really solid boost to gold find, 100% which is super high for a ring, it also gives a fairly decent Fire Absorb, which can be helpful against some of the Infernostride using enemies, as well as Diablo's fire attacks and even the council's Fire Hydra.

Dwarf Star

Dwarf StarRequired Level: 45
+40 To Life
+40 Maximum Stamina
Heal Stamina Plus 15%
Fire Absorb 15%
Magic Damage Reduced By 12-15 (varies)
100% Extra Gold From Monsters
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.09 or later)

Carrion Wind

Carrion Wind is not well-loved by most people, it is fun to play around with for at least fast attacking characters, it has some solid life leech for a ring of its level, it has some survivability perks and the damage to mana is nice for cheaper melee attackers. The trait that makes this kind of fun though is the chance to cast twister on striking, which is specifically fun on a character like a Zealot or a Frenzy Barb since it can give them an intermittent stun on nearby enemies while fighting and the Poison Nova can prevent enemies from healing for a couple of seconds. These can't make it amazing but make it fun.

Carrion Wind

Carrion WindRequired Level: 60
10% Chance To Cast Level 10 Poison Nova When Struck
8% Chance To Cast Level 13 Twister On Striking
6-9% Life Stolen Per Hit (varies)
+100-160 Defense Vs. Missile (varies)
Poison Resist +55%
10% Damage Taken Goes To Mana
Level 21 Poison Creeper (15 Charges)
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.10 or later)

Manald Heal

Manald Heal is usually only used at low levels, it's a simple mana leech ring with replenish life and mana regen boost, it's good for its level requirement, but by the time you get into a late Nightmare and Hell, it generally gets beaten even by basic rare resist rings to boost your survivability that said, it's pretty good to plonk on your character if you're running a malice build in normal.

Manald Heal

Manald HealRequired Level: 15
4-7% Mana Stolen Per Hit (varies)
Replenish Life +5-8 (varies)
Regenerate Mana 20%
+20 To Life
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.09 or later)

4. Unique rings not recommended in D2R

Nature’s Peace

The first one is a ring that will get you very little other than the level requirement and that is nature's peace, while it offers a couple of perks that you won't find on any other ring, with rest in peace and prevent monster heal, these can be found much easier on other gear, if you really need them and any of them themselves aren't terribly useful mods, the rest of the features of this ring also leave a lot to be desired with a common resist and poison resist, low damage reduction and a low level summon charge, it's hard to find a single build that really has a use for this unfortunate ring.

Nature's Peace

Nature's PeaceRequired Level: 69
Slain Monsters Rest In Peace*
Prevent Monster Heal
Poison Resist +20-30% (varies)
Damage Reduced By 7-11 (varies)
Level 5 Oak Sage (27 charges)
(Ladder Only)
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.10 or later)
