In Diablo 2 Resurrected, the Talon Assassin (Kicksin) Build is a strong boss build for the Assassin. With this build, we have a very fast attack speed, which often triggers the affix "chance of Deadly Strike". It's the best build of the Assassin for Uber Diablo and Uber Tristram.

D2R Dragon Talon Kicker Assassin Build Features (D2R Talon Trapper Assassin Advantages)

It's a very beginner-friendly hybrid build that's easy to play. With the Dragon Talon, we deal high damage against bosses. When fighting multiple opponents, we set up our two traps, Lightning Guardian and Death Guardian.

Chance of Deadly Strike

We are trying to get a very high "chance of a devastating blow" in this build. With a devastating blow, we reduce the life points of normal opponents by 25% and of champions and bosses by 12.5%. In the calculation, however, the remaining life points are taken. So if we have a devastating blow to a boss with 100% life, we deduct 12.5% life from him. If he has only 50% life points left, we deduct only 6.25% from him.

D2R Talon Assassin (Kicksin) Attributes

How many points we have to assign to the individual attributes is difficult to say with builds for Diablo 2 Resurrected. Since most weapons and armor have strength and dexterity as a prerequisite, we need these two attributes, especially in the initial phase of leveling. At higher levels, however, we find more and more matching spells and items with bonuses on attributes and notice that we have invested too many points in some attributes. In this case, a reskill with the new assignment of the attributes is worthwhile.

Dragon Talon Kicksin Assassin Skill Point Setting

In the Talon Assassin (Kicksin) skill, we award our first 20 points to our main attack Dragon Talon. Next, the useful abilities hang gliding, shadow coat, thought stroke, acceleration tempo, fading, shadow warrior, shadow master, and their prerequisite abilities each get one point. We continue with 20 points each in the two traps Death Sentry and Lightning Sentry, which we need for fights against several opponents. We passively reinforce these two abilities with the last remaining points in Charged Bolt Sentry.
