In this D2R farming guide, we are on the hunt for Andariel's Visage, a fantastic mercenary helm and actually a pretty good melee head armor, in general, it gives a nice 20 increased attack speed, plus 2 to all skills, some life steal as well as a big bonus to strength, plus 10 to maximum poison resist and even +70% poison resist. The only downside is that it comes with a minus 30 to fire resist, so it can be a good idea to actually add a socket to this one and then drop in a row D2R rune to help compensate for that resistance penalty, making this a really good mercenary item.

Best Place To Find Andariel's Visage in Diablo 2 Resurrected

So how and where to find Andariel's Visage in Diablo 2 Resurrected? Let's dive into the drop rate and best locations to farm it as below:

Areas To Find Andariel's Visage

Andariel's Visage carries an item level of 85 meaning that it can only drop from level 85 monsters, level 85 areas or from level 82 to 83 areas from either the champion or the unique spawns which spawn 2 and 3 levels higher than the normal monsters in that area, so that basically means the Worldstone Keep and Throne of Destruction.

Of course you could also find it from the champions and the uniques in somewhere like the Glacial Trail and any of those level 83-82, 82 areas could potentially drop it from their unique, 83s could drop it from their champions or their uniques, and 85s could drop it from literally any monster.

Drop Rate Of Andariel's Visage in The Areas

Now, let's check the drop rate of the Andariel's Visage in Hell mode on dropcalc.silospen.com:

We punch in a Magic Find of 300 and at the top of the charts of the super unique monsters, we have the Grand Vizier of Chaos, the Infector of Souls, Lord De Seis with a drop rate of 1:9655. In general, any monster any unique, champion, a regular monster from The Chaos Sanctuary can drop Andariel's Visage. Pindleshkin is also at the top of the charts with a 1:10161 probability drop rate, very close to the Chaos Sanctuary area compared to 1:9655.

Taking a look at the boss monsters up, at the top of the charts we have Diablo with a 1:560 drop rate, slightly behind is Baal (1:566), and then Mephisto down the list a little bit.

Best Spots To Farm Andariel's Visage in D2R

So when you wrap things up:

1. You have the unique spawns, the super unique spawns, Lord De Seis, Grand Vizier of Chaos, Infector of Souls, and any monster in all of Chaos Sanctuary dropping Andariel's Visage;

2. You have Diablo at the top of the list in terms of Boss monsters dropping Andariel's Visage as well.

We would say it's really not a contest your hands down the best place to farm for Andariel's Visage, goes to the Chaos Sanctuary, or runs Pindleshkin over and over again. But farm Chaos Sanctuary because the runs take about a minute and a half to complete if you power through, especially with the rate-limiting on game creation, you really can't do a Pindleshkin run faster. Since there are three drop spots in Chaos Sanctuary which all have actually better drop chances than Pindleshkin, so that's probably the best bet for Andariel's Visage.
