The Grandfather is a legendary most popular sought-after weapon in Diablo, no longer really viable in Diablo 2 Resurrected when you take Grief into consideration:

Definitely, The Grandfather has lost its crown as the reigning king of most powerful D2R weapons in Diablo II Resurrected, but at one point in history, this was the blade that all barbarians dreamed about. Anyway, it is still a pretty good blade in D2R, has got a very fast attack speed when socketed with shale and gives a big bonus to maximum damage based on character level, 250 enhanced damage, also nice big 80 to all life and 20 to all attributes.

So what you would be doing is farming level 85 areas: Ancient Tunnels, Chaos Sanctuary, World Stone Keep, and any of the monsters in there even the normal monsters have a chance to drop the Grandfather. If you take a look at the super uniques filter and the uniques filter, they have about twice as bad of a chance as Pindleskin has of dropping the Grandfather specifically. So you can go and farm just the regular 85 level areas, actually, you could even farm some level 83-84 areas and potentially find the Grandfather on a super unique or on a champion monster in those areas. You're probably best off honestly farming Grandfather, which is probably the best bet at this.

3. Baal (The Worldstone Chamber)

Baal actually is the only BOSS who can drop the Grandfather and he doesn't have much of a better probability rate than Pindleskin and it takes a lot longer to take down Baal. If we take a look at some of our regular monsters our normal monsters, we have the best chance 1:2099874 from Abyss Knight (River of Flame).
