The first Ladder season of Diablo 2 Resurrected entered the third month, the time of Ladder 1 reset and Ladder 2 launch would be what we want to figure out. Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Reset 2022 - D2R Ladder Length

The Ladder system was first introduced in Diablo II Patch 1.10, players are allowed to create a new character that is separate from the non-ladder character. And Season 1 initially began in October of 2003.

When it comes to Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder reset in 2022, which comes along with the Patch 2.4, Blizzard released the D2R Ladder Season 1 on April 28, 2022. The reset system works similarly as before, Ladder characters and items can not interact with those in non-Ladder before the season ends, everybody starts from level 1, while the length would be different. For the length, each Ladder season originally would last 6 months, from season 7 to season 27, because at early seasons, lots of issues happened and the reset did not go regularly.

This year, Blizzard is going to release a new and exclusive Ladder rank system with more frequent restarts, then players can join in the revamped Ladder seasons, enjoy the races and try to earn a place among top tiers or legends. Then considering three months is too quick and six months is too long, the design lead suggested that each season can last four months long.

Actually, the official end date of D2R Ladder 1 has not been announced, but as time goes by, many players are concerned about when will the Ladder Season 1 come to a close and when will the next season start.

For the estimated D2R Ladder Season 1 end date, if the developers stick on a 4-month reset, we expect the Ladder 1 to end around August 25, 2022, which is also a Thursday. When the season ends, the leaderboard rankings of all four modes will reset, and your characters will be transferred to non-ladder mode, you can save your D2R Ladder items.

Assuming they prepared to leave two weeks between two seasons, the D2R Ladder Season 2 start date is likely to be in early September 2022. But if they don’t need such a long interval, we’ll have the chance to see the Season 2 at the end of August.
