NBA 2K23 Season 4 Best Jumpshots

NBA 2K23 Season 4 Best Jumpshots (Nex & Current Gen)

Here we get two best jump shots for 6'5" to 6'9", two best jump shots for the small guards and then one best jumpshot for the Bigs. Without further ado, let's dive into it now!

1 -  Best Jumpshots for 6'5"-6'9"

  • Base: Lamelo Ball

  • Release 1: Oscar Robertson

  • Release 2: Nikola Jovic

  • Release Speed: Max Out

  • Animation Blending: 94% / 60%

  • Release Height: A+

  • Def. Immunity: A+

  • Release Speed: A+

  • Timing Impact: C-

Even in the cop Pro-Am, isolating using this jump shot on 85 three-pointers, it's really fast, you can shoot from deep especially when you have the badge.  And if you slap this thing on a build with an 89-three-point or a 92-three-pointer, you go crazy with this jump shot. Overall, this is a decent fast jumpshot with good elevation for 6'5-6'9 builds now.  When you're creating your jump shot the only thing you want to make sure of is that it's A plus speed and even when you turn the release speed down you want to make sure the speed is still good. Because some jump shots if you turn the release speed all the way down, it'll still say A Plus and that means it's a really fast jump shot, and then obviously always put the jumpshot on the max speed that's like rule number one.

2 -  Best Jumpshots for 6'5"-6'9"

  • Base: Kyle Kuzma

  • Release 1: Oscar Robertson

  • Release 2: Oscar Robertson

  • Release Speed: Max Out

  • Animation Blending: 50% / 50%

  • Release Height: B+

  • Def. Immunity: A+

  • Release Speed: A+

  • Timing Impact: C-

So if you have a 6'5" to 6'9" player, honestly these are the two best bases to use. It is fast just like the Lamelo Ball base but its a little bit quicker. There's not much elevator, he only jumps like maybe two or three inches off the floor, so it's like maybe the shot is actually not quicker or it is quicker, but the animation is like there's not as much elevation or whatever.

3 -  Best Jumpshots for Under 6'5“ (Small Guards)

  • Base: Stephen Curry

  • Release 1: Oscar Robertson

  • Release 2: Oscar Robertson

  • Release Speed: Max Out

  • Animation Blending: 50% / 50%

  • Release Height: A+

  • Def. Immunity: A+

  • Release Speed: A+

  • Timing Impact: A-

This is for small guards out there, you got to have a really high three-point rating gotta be sure all that type of stuff. A lot of guards that are going to be going to the 2K league and getting paid thousands and thousands of dollars to play this game at the absolute highest level, they use this jump shot. It is a really good jumpshot but you're going to have to get used to it. It is super fast, it's really good for like Peak shots, you know if you're playing Pro-Am 5v5, you need a really fast jump shot if you're running pick and roll, and this is one of them.  So lot of comp point guards and shooting guards run this Curry Oscar Oscar jumpshot in the Pro-Am, a lot of stage players run this when they're you know on their little guards ISO in or running pick and roll pick and pop in the stage. It's a cop jump shot so if you're a more casual player, you're definitely going to have to get used to the speed of it because it's super fast, but if you got a small guard and got a high three-point rating, you can't go wrong with this.

4 -  Best Jumpshots for Under 6'5" (Small Guards)

  • Base: Kevin Porter Jr.

  • Release 1: Oscar Robertson

  • Release 2: Darius Garland

  • Release Speed: Max Out

  • Animation Blending: 38% / 62%

  • Release Height: C+

  • Def. Immunity: A+

  • Release Speed: A+

  • Timing Impact: D+

You see a lot of prom players that don't like the Curry base, they go with KPJ, you can't go wrong either way, you just got to figure out what works best for you. If you want to start to fade and if you're a newer player, your jump shot does affect a little bit how your fade looks, obviously your dribble pull-up is the main thing that affects your fade, depending on the shot that we are using our fade looks different the releases and all that stuff so make sure you have on a shot that lets you fade comfortably and this jumpshot is hitting in this. It's definitely a shot you could shoot stand still, you could crab and shoot with it, you could shoot the Fades that you need to shoot if you're playing comp 5s whatever the case.

5 - Best Jumpshot for 6'10" Over (Big Man/Center)

  • Base: Oshae Brissett

  • Release 1: Tim Duncan

  • Release 2: Dirk Nowitzki

  • Release Speed: Max Out

  • Animation Blending: 72% / 28%

  • Release Height: A

  • Def. Immunity: A

  • Release Speed: A-

  • Timing Impact: D

Oshae Brissett is the best base for a low three-point rating, low mid-range rating, or just a big player that obviously you're not going to have as high of a three-ball. With this jumpshot, your bigs can shoot from half court, shoot off the dribble, shoot step back, shoot all catch, and whatever types of shots you want, Oshae Brissett is the best one to go because not only is it like a good base but it is a fast base.  And not a big player it's tough to find fast jump shots sometimes because they don't give you access to all the good bases, but the big man with this jumpshot is shooting fades on a player over seven feet tall in Pro-Am games. Even on the 7-2 player seven three-popper, he's still going crazy with this jump shot.
