Heading into the 2022 NFL Season, players are going to decide which team to use in the Franchise mode of Madden 23. Today we’ll go over the 5 best teams to rebuild in Madden 23.

Best Teams to Rebuild in Madden 23

Best Teams to Rebuild in Madden 23 - Top 5 Madden 23 Rebuild Teams in Franchise

With the list of top 5 Madden 23 Franchise teams to rebuild, let’s see how CB Gaming explains these teams.

Top 5 - Los Angeles Rams (Team Overall - 88)

The first team is Los Angeles Rams, this team is at the top of great overalls all around, they have a bunch of great players, but all of those players for the most part are really getting up there. They have 7.6 million available in the salary cap, a lot of money is sitting on this team, it's about 15 million in dead cap this year, and a lot of allocated money towards these veteran players, which is great, it's gonna help them win, they're probably gonna win for another season or two. They have Aaron Donald at 99, Bobby Wagner at 91, Leonard Floyd at 80, and more, the front seven is being held up really by Bobby Wagner and Aaron Donald, but Aaron Donald is potentially retiring, and Bobby Wagner is not who used to be. This front seven is going to need a facelift in a major way. And the secondary is being held by Jalen Ramsey at 98, other players are all lower than 80 overall, and there are lots of blanks that need to fill around the defense, so the LA Rams are actually a really good team you have for one or two seasons, you get a chance to play with some of the players that were making splashes this year, but the second and third year, you are going to rebuild this year almost from the ground up, they don’t have that much young talent.

Top 4 - Detroit Lions (Team Overall - 78)

Moving on to the fourth team is Detroit Lions, they have an expected salary cap of 10.3 million, a lot of that is some dead money that should be free after this first season, you also end up having two first-round picks in the upcoming draft. This team is more in line with the rebuild, with 75 overall offense, and 72 overall defense, they only have two players on the entire roster that are 81 or above, that’s T.J. Hockenson and Frank Ragnow, then everybody else is at an 80 or below, including lower-end talent and some untapped potential, like Amon-Ra St. Brown and D. J. Chark. When it comes to who throws the ball, there are a lot of options. They drafted Jameson Williams, you got one of the fastest receivers in the league coming out gonna be ready and available for you by the latest next year to help build up that receiving core. For the defensive line, they got Aidan Hutchinson, even though they have had a couple of really good drafts, there is still a lot of untapped potential and question marks with this team that's gonna have to get solved and you could really put your own spin on them, similar to the Rams but at a much faster pace.

Top 3 - Atlanta Falcons (Team Overall - 77)

For the number three, we have Atlanta Falcons, they just draft Desmond Ridder, based on this past draft, he was pretty much one of the top flight quarterbacks, it just wasn't that generational talent to push them to the first round, but there's going to be an opportunity for him to play and it's sort of expected that he gets a shot before somebody else comes in. They are working with 13 million in cap space, a lot of this is dead money. The turnover of that roster that they've done in the last couple of years is holding a lot of that money that is going to free up for you eventually, probably after this first season. They have a whole new receiving core Calvin Ridley is suspended for the year, they don't really have an identity at running back, Cordarrelle Patterson is still there, but he is aging, the offensive line is going to need work, and the front seven is in a bad spot, they have a nice piece or two in the secondary that you can build up, but overall this team needs a lot of attention.

Top 2 - Seattle Seahawks (Team Overall - 76)

The number two team to rebuild in Madden 23 Franchise is going to be the Seattle Seahawks, they had Marshawn Lynch, they had Russell Wilson in his prime, but all of that is gone, this offseason the Seahawks pretty much erased, the little amount of the past that was left on this team when they traded away Russell Wilson, the team itself isn't in a pretty good spot, aside from the quarterback position up until a couple of weeks ago, when Chris Carson decided that he was going to call it a career early, which leaves a huge void in the backfield of Seahawks, Rashaad Armein Penny now becomes the lead man and rookie running back Kenneth Walker the third who they drafted this year now becomes a potential running back. If you take over the seahawks you're gonna have to deal with Drew Lock for a season or maybe you make a trade, but you have the opportunity to really build up the running back, you still have Tyler Lockett who has another season or two left in them before you're gonna have to replace them. In addition, this offense is in a bad spot, they need a new quarterback, they may need a running back, and eventually that receiving core is going to need a rebuild, the defensive side of the ball is even a worse position than the offense, that's going to need a retooling completely, this is why this team is one of the best rebuild teams for Madden 23 Franchise.

Top 1 - Houston Texans (Team Overall - 74)

There is no denying that the Houston Texans are the most pathetic team in Madden 23, this team needs all the help it can get, now they're sitting at 8.9 million in the available salary cap and their team overall is a 74 with a 71 offense and 70 defense. The offensive line needs redoing, and the defense as a whole also needs to be rebuilt, this team is a perfect example of a rebuilding team in Madden 23, and they are going to be the number one you should use. You are going to have to let go a lot of veterans that are costing money and are not going to perform the way you want them to, they also had a heck of a draft this year, they brought Derek Stingley, and they also brought Jalen Pitre, he is going to end up being a starter for anybody who takes over this team, they end up bringing in John Metchie, the young running back Dameon Pierce and Kenyon Green at the left guard position. There are some nice pieces on this team already, but it is just going to fill up a little portion of what you need, the rest you have to do yourself, but that is the whole point of rebuilding these teams.
