Many consider the Astray to be the best ship in Lost Ark. It takes about a month's worth of time (more specifically, 25 days), because it is time-gated by two Una's Tasks, but it is well worth it. Not only does it take a lot of time, but it also uses a lot of resources, particularly when it comes to finding the best possible crew for the ship.

There's no shame in keeping your Estoque around until you're ready to commit to building your Astray, because it's an excellent alternative. For a ship that's expensive to maximize, the Astray is one of the most valuable in the game.

Materials For Crafting The Astray

There are five things you need to craft the Astray:

• Astray Construction Blueprint

• Astray Operation Manual

• Certificate of Pirate

• 570 Timber

• 375 Uncommon Ship Parts Material

At Blackfang's Den, Belrod (who has the "Astray Shipbuilder" title above his name in blue) is waiting to craft your Astray. 10,000 silver isn't a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, but it's still a significant investment. If you've spent your ship parts on other ships, you probably have plenty of the more difficult-to-find items. However, if you don't, you can craft them at any city's Processor NPC (scroll down to the "Part Materials" tab to find them). In addition to the Construction Blueprint and Certificate of Pirate, the Astray Operation Manual is an item that is given to you at the end of a small quest chain. Mariner Rosa sells the "Pirate Star: Astray" item for 300,000 pirate coins, which begins this quest. At Blackfang's Den, she is waiting for you. Here, we've got some advice on how to get your hands on a lot of pirate coins. Even though you can purchase this item whenever you want with your pirate coins, you must first reach Blackfang's level of trusted rapport in order to receive the operation manual from her. The daily emotes and songs for her benefit greatly from your prompt attention.

Certificate Of Pirate

The reputation of the Una's Task "Pest Control" must be maximized in order to obtain the Certificate of Pirate. Blackfang's Den's event occurs every 15 minutes, so you'll only have to kill the pirates you need to kill if you're on the island at the time.

• Tier 1– 30/30 (three dailies), rewards 6,000 pirate coins.

• Tier 2 – 40/40 (four dailies), rewards 8,000 pirate coins.

• Tier 3 – 80/80 (eight dailies), rewards Certificate of Pirate, a vitality increase potion, and 16,000 pirate coins.

Una's Task gives you not only one of the most important materials for crafting your Astray, but also a nice chunk of pirate coins to help you reach the 300,000 needed for "Pirate Star Astray."

Astray Construction Blueprint

The Una's Task "She Drifts, Sea Gifts" must have its reputation raised to the maximum level in order to obtain the Astray Construction Blueprint. It takes 25 days to complete this daily, which is the longest part of the process.

• Tier 1 – 50/50 (five dailies), rewards 12,000 pirate coins.

• Tier 2 – 80/80 (four dailies), rewards 19,000 pirate coins.

• Tier 3 – 80/80 (eight dailies), rewards Astray Construction Blueprint and 29,000 pirate coins.

The Co-op Sailing Events must be active in order to complete this daily, which doesn't happen very often, making it a bit of a hassle to complete consistently. Keep an eye out for the Arthetine and Yorn events, which consistently produce the treasure salvaging events you need to complete the Una's Task. Only go to the other events if the first two aren't taking place, as they have a chance of doing so. You should read Blackfang's note before attempting to finish this daily. During the Co-op Sailing Event, you will not be able to progress in the quest unless you read her note.

Your "Una's Task Instant Complete Tickets" can save you time in the long run by using them for this one. Make sure to keep in mind that you must have already completed the quest in order to use the instant complete tickets! It's nearly twice as many pirate coins as you get for achieving the reputation of "Pest Control" when you complete Una's Task "She Drifts, Sea Gifts." If you don't have 25 extra instant complete tickets lying around, keep an eye on when the Co-op Sailing Events are spawning because it's a bit of a time commitment.
