Lost Ark Kungelanium Guide

Lost Ark Kungelanium Guardian Raid Guide - Item Level, Phases, and Debuffs

Kungelanium is a new level 6 Guardian Raid that was introduced in the Lost Ark June update for the western version, players are required to reach item level 1460 to be able to challenge him and beat him. You can choose to solo or go with a party.

Kungelanium Guardian Raid has 3 phases, the phase 1 involves destructing his shell, phase 2 introduces attacks that can be countered, phase 3 continues the previous stage, then adds ice falling from the sky when Kungelanium jumps or performs a slam attack.

Kungelanium has two different types of debuffs, the first one is called Chill, which can stack up to five times and each stack will slow you down by 15%, and the second one is Freeze, when you are frozen you won't be able to move but you'll take damage from Kungelanium’s attacks.

Lost Ark Kungelanium Rewards

Kungelanium is more difficult than Descaluda, but also provides higher rewards, including honing materials like leapstones, different types of random relic accessories and probably the Legendary Galewind rune that can improve your skill casting speed, as well as engraving books and cards.

Destruction Bomb

Pheromone Bomb

You can only bring one type of bomb with you, the party should bring one corrosive, one destruction, and two pheromone bombs.

Lost Ark Kungelanium Mechanics & Patterns

The Frost Wind is the most important mechanic of Kungelanium, this is an instant-death mechanic that appears in the second half of phase 2 and can be avoided by the freezing effect of the ice cracks.

Ice Mukbang

Try to dodge the patterns that will freeze you, the first one is Ice Mukbang, when you first meet Kungelanium, he'll be eating ice, before he finishes eating, you need to stagger him, if you don't, Kungelanium will use an AOE, because of this reason, it is not recommended to rush to this raid by yourself because you won't be able to stagger him in time, wait for your party members to arrive and start staggering together. If you don't have enough stagger, you can use whirlwind grenades. Phase one is the shell destruction, your main job here will be to break off the hard shell Kungelaniumis wearing so that you can start doing damage, after you stagger Kungelanium, make sure you are using weak point skills every time they come back from cooldowns, you can use corrosive bombs to accelerate the brake or use destruction bombs, if you don't have a lot of weak point skills after the shell breaks, Kungelanium will try to run away, which you can stop with using a pheromone bomb.

Charge

Kungelanium has two patterns that you can counter, the Charge Kungelanium will lift his front legs before charging, if he is glowing in blue, you can use a counter skill to knock him out, if he's not glowing get out of this line.

Ice Fireworks

When Kungelanium starts digging, he is about to shoot Ice Fireworks, you'll have to waste a lot of time dodging these ice shards. So make sure you counter this to stop this pattern.

Ice Orb

Kungelanium will shoot an ice dwarf that follows the aggro, if you have the aggro, try to dribble this orb away from your party, because if you touch it or if enough time has passed, the orb will turn into a swirl AOE that will apply Chill debuffs.

Breath

when you see Kungelanium gather wind from his mouth, he is about to use his Breath patterns, just one tick will freeze you. After you see the wind gathering in his mouth, quickly dodge to his sides.

Ice Cage

An ice cage will form around Kungelanium, ice will start falling inside the cage and at the end, the cage will explode, however, these ice pillars are breakable, so you should break out before the final explosion before Kungelanium runs.

Blizzard

He will call a Blizzard, the damage you receive will keep on increasing in order to survive this Blizzard, you have to stand on top of these gazers that form in the cross direction, standing on these gazers will freeze you, so normally you don't want to stay on them, but for the Blizzard, you want to freeze as soon as possible to avoid the blizzard damage.

Snowflake Hop

Kungelanium will start shaking, then he will hop twice, during the hops, there will be an AOE in a Snowflake shape, when you see Kungelanium shake, get ready to stay between his head and legs or his tail and legs, if you get hit by the snowflake AOE, you will freeze

Hail

In phase three, Kungelanium will use the same patterns, but there will be hail falling afterward, hail won't do too much damage, but will make the raid annoying.
